Word.

Uh-uh -- not that I 100% agree with Plax, but I disagree more with that point -- I doubt you guys all do this mainly to win a crummy pixel trophy and will do anything and screw anyone else in the process -- I don't really mind the all 5WR attack, its not quite the same thing as a brutally repetitive inside rush, there's more risk involved in throwing, but then again I'm not a DC -- but that said I don't think the desire to win at all costs is why most of us are here -- this game is popular because of the interest and entertainment value and I think everyone other than the low-life type of a-holes who tend to dominate the Pro leagues understands that deep down so they don't stoop to any low tactics necessary to win at any cost.

For the most part we're pretty lucky in this league -- I'd have to say it has the best quality of play of any league I'm in and its because the owners here seem to have enough self-respect and respect for each other that they don't really stoop to exploitive tactics. Compared to the Africa Pro league where I moved some of my ex-Tilburg Power guys, this league is an absolute paradise of good sportsmanship.

Thus, exploiting the fact that this simulation can not be stopped and adjusted in mid stride, exploiting the lack of AI recognition. No adaptation.

Yippee...what a fun game.

I comprehend just fine. You want someone to play one way and they play another. It's a game and they are playing by the rules the game allows. So, who cares? If you think the GAME is flawed then bring that to the Suggestions board. If you think Richmond's game plan is flawed then keep beating it. I don't see any reason to bitch about how someone chooses to play the game.

If I thought I could run one play and win the game that's what I would do. In fact I owe it to my team to do that because they are spending money to maintain players and I believe their goal is to win games and championships.

You didn't see me in here crying foul when Stockholm rushed 57 times to 14 passes. I saw it coming, did what I could to stop it and lost. Done, next song.

I get Richmond in 3 days. I'll do my best to handle them, if I can't and we lose it won't be the Sim's fault of the AI's fault. We all have the same tools to work with.

Read my first post on this matter. I was never "crying foul". The original idea of the topic I brought up was Richmond is being super inefficient with their games. I was critically suggesting that they start to revamp the way they approach games.
From my post : You guys have a good team, maybe the losses are due to relying on a few plays too much?

I actually applauded gaelenkash for having a basis on why he ran the 5 WR against us, because he saw a mismatch opportunity in one of my playcalls. BUT, when I see that they are running the exact same plays against teams that he didn't get the mismatch on (and lost), that's where I started to comment on their lack of in depth AI structure.
Another example from my post : they started their GL run from the 10 yard line, which was counted as a 1st and goal...
Do you see me saying "waaaaaaah, exploit of the unstoppable GL formation", fuck no. The sensible understanding from that comment is that "maybe you shouldn't run the GL formation from 10 yards away to the endzone".

Again, lack of bitching, more of harsh criticizing. If Richmond finds a way to win with their 2 call offensive style (their win against the Tigers), so be it. But if they lose, and they come here saying things like "the sim is not following our gameplan" (which they did, and it was legit), then they open themselves to get comments on what they are doing. It's a two way street.

Take things into perspective, I'm DC'ing a team which beat the team I am "crying foul" about. What are the options then? Complaining because we lost to their method? No. Suggesting that a -.500 team should change up what they are doing? Fuck. Yes.

edit : fixed grammar.
