id like to say that weve scouted a single team since day 5 of the season, id really like to, but the answer is no. im definitely looking forward to playing the berlin wall and newark nomads soon so that we can actually game plan for teams again.

Like every friendly, we tried some things to see what would and wouldn't work, changed tactics to something we wanted to experiment with but in the end we didn't treat it like a real game. I think Goldie would agree that it wouldn't be too wise to show an opponent everything you've got when there is an off-chance of seeing them in a championship game.

no bs, the only times ive looked at other teams since the jacksonville game was to make my writeups. it looks like stockholm was able to use the weaknesses you showed in the scrimmage against you though.

no we ran completely different schemes against them. Maybe you havent changed settings for awhile (not like youve had to) but to say you didnt even look at our team before we played, I dont know about that.

I do believe it was someone on Lyons that made claim to no one being able to hold you under 300 yards rushing and that you would double our HBs output.

Actually here are the quotes that game specifically refuted:

"i believe i can safely predict that cupp himself will outrush any two of your backs combined, and that crash will have more broken tackles than any two of your backs combined. and that yes, they will score more touchdowns."

"zeta's 3 top teams are head and shoulders above every alpha team"

"while cupp obviously would have his numbers toned down in alpha, he can still easily run for 2-300 yards on any defense in this league, save for krakow, the one true great defense that there is in this league."

That's what this game was about. None of those statements came to fruition.

I believed Goldies' claim that they changed nothing...and I believe Lyon played us the same way they played Krakow as well. So, knowing you played us the same way you played the best team in all of WE A Zeta and we held you below your own expectations (and if not for a pick six) had you beat

And if you take my word that we experimented with player settings and an odd defense against a primarily run-based offensive alignment...let's just leave it at GG and move on.... and if we see each other again in the playoffs that game should be just as entertaining with each team playing to win rather than playing to prove a point.
