Question? Which is better to put in? 41 carrying and 52 strength or 49 carrying and 40 strength. For returner.

Well, I dont have an exact answer for you... but I would personally go with the later (49carrying/40strength).
Your returner doesnt so much have to knock people down as he just has to hold on to the ball. I think we can all agree that "realism" would be no more than 1 or 2 ST fumbles in a game between two reasonably matched teams... however with the games system if your returner just doesnt match up to the tacklers it can become a lopsided affair.
I dont know Borts plans nor have I taken an indepth look at the fumbling problems this season, but I would think that your 49/40 guy would be good enough as a returner. Have you tested both of these guys out?

First off, thanks for the comments. The answer to your question is no. The guy with 41 carrying and 52 strength is my regular return man. Always has did return duties by himself the past 3 seasons or so. My team plays the Donkeys next and i don't want to continuously fumble on kickoffs like Ghana did. I am pretty sure he hasn't fumbled all season but we haven't faced a team like the Donkeys in terms of fumbling success. For my team to compete, imo, we need to not fumble the damn ball like other teams. The other player never has returned kicks but with his carrying i thought it might be a good idea to throw him in there just for this game. I don't think having my regular return man in anyways will be that much of a difference in return yards.

Well if you've had no problems with the first guy then you might not want to change. As said I havent done extensive research or tested this out. My response was just my guess based off of my assumptions.
Hell, the really conservative answer would be to put your powerback/fullback in the slot to ensure you dont fumble. Im not sure what your builds are like, but I know ESM had our FB doing returns from seasons 5->7 with quite a bit of success... infact I think he actually led the league in KR average one of those years.

Hmmm, you dont like the idea of 12 fumbles? How about we settle on 7? That sounds fair
We have 2 LB with 10+ in Monster Hit, and they arent even the ones leading the team in FF.
If you guys are curious and would like to see the build of ** 1 ** player, post the one you would like to see most and i will share it with you. One of the players with more then 5FF this season, there are 11 to choose from. I will check back in later.

Another big issue for returners is stamina. It is a good idea to have reasonable energy settings (like what level would you NOT want him in their retturning kicks) and have a couple of backups. I usually have a few guys on each return spot after we had a 2 fumble ST game earlier in the season...(on back to back plays too).

I would agree with that, esp for back to back plays like the kick offs, and once you fumble ( your morale is lower ) you are more apt to fumble again anyways.

Thanks for all the replies fellas. Seems like all the passing worked as i thought. I knew our running backs would cough up the ball to those beastly LB's you Donkeys have so as you can see we went really pass heavy. Still got your couple of FF's but we came out on top. GG Donkeys!

Only 1 TD through the air, 413 yards ... i dont care about the yardage nearly as much as holding you to the single passing TD. Although we let you into FG range to much.
The win for you, i believe came more with actually stopping our Power Back, holding us to 90some yards is the biggest reason for our loss.
GG, maybe we will meat again before the season is through
