PM me with the results of the testing.

If I'm lying but it does help, I'd like to know. On the other hand, if I'm telling the truth but it's a waste of points, I'd really like to know.

His vision needs to be at least to the 4:1 softcap and his confidence should be at 3:1. Strength also needs to be over 100.

Even this guy who is my fav player has started to suck after lighting the world on fire the first few games. Owning a DE or any player on D is basically a waste of Flex points right now when all teams have to do is Strong I slam 95 times a game.

Why sign one? Instead, powerbacks were unchanged, defensive lines are still castrated, and the passing game is -- wait, there is no passing game.

I don't think it will happen, tbh. And I don't think it should. Teams have built speed/agil defenders that are grossly out-powered by power backs. CB builds are playing LB and speed LB builds are playing D-Line. THAT is why power backs are so good and speed backs suck. As players fix their builds to stop power backs, I think you'll see speed backs start to come back. If he nerfs power backs, then there will be NOTHING to build for and all offense will be gone. If that happens, I think they'll pretty much have to implode GLB.

The problem is whatever Bort did to the passing game, imo. Power backs were good last season, but teams could pass. This caused some teams to have passing offenses and some teams have power running games. This was fun to play and game plan for. Now the passing is a joke, so everyone just pounds out 3 yards and a cloud of dust with their strongest HB...BORING!!! It really sucks, but nerfing power backs is not the answer. FIX THE PASSING GAME and give people choices.

Our passing game was upgraded from last season, yet your QB SUCKS BALLS compared to last season. 50 points lower on his rating and sub 50% completion. That is garbage!!!

Builds like this make my previous point. No way in hell that guy should be able to hang with an OT, let alone tackle a power back. On the other hand, he kills speed backs. As these types of defenders get built out of the game, I think the running game will start to balance out and speed backs will be faster than D-Lineman....as they should be.

We agree on the passing game and to some extent I agree with your points above.

However, speaking from experience with my own players and defenses on a couple of teams, you can't build a defensive line right now that can shut down a decent power back. Slow down, maybe. I don't care who your HB is, you shouldn't be able to consistently run through the middle of a defensive line built to stop the run. Think Kevin Williams and Pat Williams in Minnesota (as a WI native, it pains me to even mention that team).

Anyway, 180-220 pounds of HB slamming into 330 pound DTs shouldn't be a guaranteed 3 yards and a tackle (or attempt) by a linebacker.

We have numerous 3:1 guys on strength and tackling and they still miss a lot of tackles...

5:1 strength with 3:1 tackling doesn't help either. To be fair, I haven't tried it the other way around.

Agree with all this, but how about the LB's? I'm referring more to them than the D-Line. I think a lot of the D-line missed tackles are more of the "player" getting his "hands" on the RB as opposed to actually missing a tackle, but they definitely do miss tackles outright as well. The LB's and safeties however are just getting freight trained due to mis-matched strength in many cases.

I was refering to LB's, we have a couple on our team and the draw back is that when they get put into coverage they get beat a lot more often due to having such high strength and tackling and not enough speed and agility. It just takes to long to develop a LBer...

Now that catch-22 makes the game interesting, imo. You have to choose your poison. Do you want to be vulnerable to the pass against LB's or vulnerable to the run? Of course since Bort nerfed passing, it is an easy choice this season, lol.
