NOLA Brah is somewhat of a pride thing(rallying call) for the natives down there.

I can understand why brahs are part of their new uniforms. Some of those NOLA women have some tig ol' biddies!

No dude, it's Kenna Brah and Metry Dahlin

Biggest waste of God given talent I've ever seen... He was set to be as big as any player in the history of the league, but couldn't actually realize that the issues of his childhood would haunt him if he didn't get away from them. He makes me ill. But, the Falcons have picked up a good replacement (if he doesn't become David Carr v.2... see also offensive line issues) and will hopefully move forward from this.

Same here, but since I live in Chicago, my only options for Cajun flavor are guady, themed restaurants or er..Popeye's Chicken.

Oh, yum - I just had the best fried and fresh crawfish tails and some of my MawMaw's made gumbo. I *really* don't mean to rub it in, but YUM! Ya really, not to rub it in or anything! Oh yum. Home collected roux, hand selected and cleaned crawfish, and the best filet you can buy in Big Mamou, La. Oh, I can practically hear my great grandfather playing accordion and popping his dentures out to make the kids laugh right now. Oh, and the boudin - man that was delicious.

Really, not to rub it in or anything

well, I can make that in my house. I think I'll have that tonight. I might even put some crawfish on it.

Peat...posted this in another thread awhile ago..not sure if you read it...but how are you all doin down there in respects to Katrina. New Orleans has made quite a comeback...and we are all pulling for everyone down there to get their lives back...even several years after Katrina.

we are determined to come back. some areas are still completely destroyed, and until they get rebuilt, it still isn't home.

we are a stubborn group...

thank you for your concern. sometimes it feels like we are forgotten...

I used to live in Pensacola and was there during Ivan, and it's unreal how long it takes to come back. And although Ivan was bad, it was nothing like the devastation wrought by Katrina. I remember driving on the beach between two eight foot rows of destroyed appliances and drywall, sailboats in trees, houses in other houses backyards. N.O.'s suffered an incredible devastation but the resilience of her people will never be forgotten.

NO needs to hire Ty Pennington as their building planner...the whole damn city would be back to new in less than a week, and you'd all get a free vacation!

Seriously though, i dont think it will ever be the same down there. They need to force some kind of mandate to get the damn insurance companies to just pay for what they should be paying for so that the city can just clear it all out and finally get things back to normal. I can only shake my head when i see pictures and there is still wreckage all over the place after this long. Says a lot for the people down there that they have for the most part gotten back to a normal life with the city still in the shape it is in.
