Yeah, when you out leveled or evenly matched against all of them, I would call them tough games. I guess it is perspective. When you are 10+ levels higher than the league expected levels, all games look easy.

Italy is very deep....ask BBH ......& the Templars... our bench is equal or stronger than most front starting lines of all the teams in Zeta Con....I think BBH has an advantage on us by.....+05- +1.5 difference.....If you look at the numbers Templars gave us a little tighter game than BBR.....Also...any one of the teams in Zeta and Alpha could have gone out and recruited....built a team like Italy...put together a great O & D Depth chart.. .....and great game plans...........What ever it takes to win....Period............................

JTsNiners, if you recruit it, then at least promote or ask to be promoted but to stay after failing is doesn't give you some right to brag about being so good. Be humble bro.

Bigragu, anyone can do it, but you argued that our games weren't tough. You picked against us in several of those games and usually by 20-30 points. You guys are hard to please and like to argue. Obviously when you outlevel half of the teams I refer to by 8 levels or more you don't see them as a threat, but we played teams with much higher levels and have been winning and yeah, I think they were tough wins. If you think we should have won, then I guess they were easy games.

We schedule the toughest scrimmages we can, including AA teams. We were seeded 14th in the EEA tournament (which means apparently at least 13 teams are supposed to be better than us) and then we knocked out the 3 seed. We beat teams that outlevel, or are equal level to us all the time.

Well this went from friendly banter to missing testicles fast!!!! LoL

At any rate, you're right... it's hard not to take a loss personally. Revenge is always a sweet sweet thing. I personally don't give a rats butt why a team is still in or has been brought to a league I'm in. They're still the OPP and will need to be dealt with. I like all the crap talking, but I think we're beating dead horses with this why you're here or why we were promoted crap. Enough is enough and everyone will get their turn sooner or later. So... from a GM's point of view; We'll see your ass on the Grid Iron!!!

Idk, there's several teams that are pretty high leveled.

We have scrimmaged:
Windsor Average Level- 37 (49-3)
Bratslava Average Level- 45 (26-24)
300 Spartans Average Level- 41 (58-27)
Corona Del Mar Average Level- 35 (40-20)
New Jersey Mafia Average Level 45- (22-16)

and i also like how snatch is able to disprove the "your 10 levels higher then everybody" crap. Robelder just cuz you can't live up to the hype you poured in at the beginning doesn't mean that others can't. Ragu is living up to expectations, portland is, Tallin is. deal with your insecurities and know that there is always somebody better then you somewhere on this site. Just like there is teams that would beat portlands ass...(just haven't found any yet this season)

The game became too much for me. I was starting a business and working 60-70 hour weeks. The team is all together, we moved to another team called Jakarta Cobras. I'm more involved again after a layoff, but most of my roll is still hit and miss. I can't do the everyday scouting stuff any more. Now I mostly build the team and advice. For this team, I run special teams, the finances, and make lots of recommendations. Tahl is the OC and I sort of assist with feedback, but it is his show. Symon is the DC.

I also have several teams that I give advice to and also help recruit for since I have quite a few connections.

I use to do what you are doing with recruiting the highest levels and paring them together to be the best. It is hard to do, but very rewarding. Just make sure you aren't taking on high levels of average players, you still need dynamite builds. That is why some high leveled teams get upset by lower levels.

This team just wants to stay together, so we have a different goal. Yes we want to win, but we are all friends from a the league we started in as owners or GMs. We decided after the first big reorganization that to build a team together since lots of us were going in different directions.
