True. I do think it's probably a really good idea to bring Powerbacks down to sane levels, but I just disagree with making game changing...uhm...changes, during the middle of the season.

Scary how close you were on our game's score. Pittsburgh Steelerz vs. Topeka Twisters

Good job mgoblue71

Poll of the Week
Who's the best RB in Oceania AA4?

Give it to Quillo Serra on the Drones. #1 in yards and TDs and is on a team that's lower down in the rankings meaning he hasn't got those overwhelming ROT of FBs to blast a hole for him.

Quillo is good, but Rich Head is averaging over a yard more, and just as many TDs with 100 less carries. Rich also splits time 98/99 with David Oku.

Yes but isnt rich head level 48 compared to a level 39 HB? I think he's a great back but something to consider

Quillo is also succeeding in a season where Bort nerfed the whole powerback abilities.

They aren't nerfed too much, and probably won't ever be....

Ok, well say they arent nerfed....Quillo has 100 more carries against Memphis, Suva and Lexington all combined. Yes, I did the math. 132 carries for Quillo while Rich Head only got 35 carries against those teams. Btw, we didn't get to play Memphis, but the combined record of those teams are 0-24.

Without those games, Rich Head has 770 yards while Quillo has 849.
Without those games, Rich Head has 145 carries while Quillo has 178.
Without those games, Rich Head averages 5.3 YPC while Quillo averages 4.76

He is doing very well, and I would have to throw Jiggins and Ducketts into the conversation, for they both are over 1,000+ yards on the season, and have split time evenly, plus, Decatur as of Game 7 was near the top for total rushing by a team. They are really great backs, and I am personally glad to have them here! Your HB Head, is a great back as well, and I think that Quillo is really good, but I don't know much about either, and Head made my dual pick because of his production on less carries as well. I looked over their stats, and receiving ones as well, so I tried to look at the "complete" HB over the statistically better HB. Nomnomnom is also a very good back, but he splits way too much time to have the stats.

GG Solomon didn't think we would pull it out you have a very good team. New this would be a close game and if we won it would be only by a few points. 24-20 Eagles GL the rest of the season.

Phoenix Eagles vs. Soloman Islands Pack: Phoenix definitely has one of the strongest defenses in Alpha, and in 5 of their 7 games they allowed less than 13 points. Soloman Islands is 5-2, but could just as easily be 7-0. I really believe the gameplanning of Soloman Islands makes them one Alpha's best teams, and having to play this team twice is very scary...it won't take the Pack twice to beat the Eagles once, though!
Solomans Island, 28-23

GG and GL Phoenix.
another close loss for us.

Actually, I don't know that Bort's put in his latest attempted nerfs to Powerback yet. Think they're mentioned in the Announcements. Otherwise, it's been pretty much the same as last year for the most part. Really kinda wish he'd have either thought to do that in the offseason, or waited until this season was over to mess with it, at all, though.

I agree, same goes for vision checks etc....many teams are gonna lose games due to AI changes that nobody has predicted or accounted for.

I'm hoping, in that case, that my guys are ahead of the curve when it comes to Vision. But yeah. Might be interesting to see how it plays out. I honestly kinda wish they'd worked more on these kinds of changes over the offseason, instead of Endorsements. While they're a nice little add-on to the game, I'd prefer to see them make sure all the current key AI, game elements, sim stuff, etc. is working smoothly and glitch-free, first.

Totally agree, they need to fix the sim first, there are alot of great agents out there that are quitting because of the inconsistency and that is money lost by him, and great experiences by all of us.
