I doubt it now. Wicklow had no passing game, their odd (and clever) switcharoo rush kept their RB's energy high and pounded the weakness they saw in my defense, along with the very cliche abuse of the strong I slam,
A few switches here and there, and their narrow rushing varieties can be shutdown, and their passing game would still be a non-issue. Hell, even passing 51 times against valencia, they managed to get only 1 TD and an INT to boot.

Offensively for us, we made one change with a player and it showed. After that loss, the offense's lowest score has been 34.
So nah, I don't think they could beat us again.

GG on the win against valencia though. I think they are overrated.

well...i dont really care. You guys are certainly a top 6 or so team in this league so i give props but so is wicklow...
personally Id pick them to win, but who cares. In the end its settled on the field of pixels by little dots
And the dots just dont care about excuses,whining or how good either team says they are....

Good game warriors. I knew you guys would be tough sadly I was right. I hope for a rematch in the playoff.

Yes, it does..especially since all they had to offset that INT was a single TD.
The 51 pass attempts also raises an eyebrow.

Come off completing at least 50% of your passes doesn't seem too bad IMO.


When you guys played Wicklow you were just out coached. Fair and square.
Just wait till the playoffs and talk with the scoreboard.

BTW..Wicklow has a slightly better ranked pass attack than the Pirates(13th v 14th ranked)...
and they damn sure have a more effective defense....
anyways keedon said it all..show and prove come playoff...anything else is just a bunch of lame
