The first signs of cracking to a cmp.....Yep not fun when you have to fight every game....Sure must be fun when you are 16-0 and running through AAA...Imagine being in the Pro's for 6 seasons scratching and clawing for each win.

I hear ya man... 400 is steep for a gigantic headache... and fighting every game can get tiresome...

I can't give up on my team though! They pay their flex points to play and I want to try my best to win them a damn championship! Plus I hate to be on the bottom of any pile... so fighting my way to the top is in my character, I hate thinking I failed at something... or that other failed cause I didn't succeed.

Nice post steve! You've been a fun competitor ever since we were rudely awakened when we first got promoted into AAA. The Rhinos are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with here in APL!

After all the work to get here, you might as well hang in there! I'll admit that the top of your conf. is fierce, but it's your first season and you're currently in 5th!! Roll with the punches...In regards to the changes, say the Serenity Prayer It's just out of your control.

To sum it up, you have a pretty good franchise, don't bow out unless you're on top when you do it

Brit, I'd hate to see you give up the team. It's been damn fun playing you guys since season 3 and you've done a helluva job over there.

But I have to agree, this game is effed. I've spent the last cent I will on this game. Starting to retire and sell custom just to keep boosting the others. (Not that I have that many to keep boosting, but still!)

Season 6 = best the sim ever was IMO. Downhill from there.

I agree with you, but I'm carrying on; might as well spend the flex I've already wasted money on. I'm gonna retire most of my players and focus on ownership and GMing teams. Hopefully they eventually get the sim right, remove the "Beta" label, and become worthy of more of my money. But it will take a while. Lucky for Bort and DD I'm a patient dude.

Man, I hear that. This is all I've known of GLB. It's been a grind too. I've often wondered how many trophies we'd have had we started in some bottom league, but I've always really enjoyed being part of the Lion. I'm glad to be here and really appreciate the class of the Lion owners. They'll be an end for me at some point, but I've still got that gold to bring in for all of the Bugeaters loyal agents.

We started slow-build team in Canada BBB. That has actually been a lot of fun and made me enjoy APL more. Things with the BBB team have not been so serious. Being clueless and trying to compete against the Rwanda's and Cape Town's while watching LOL from afar was a little daunting at times, lol. Getting the crap kicked out of us in Canada for a couple of seasons then winning gold helps you find the fun in GLB.

Agreed. We were in the same boat our first year of APL, which was the original season of APL. We were good, but Rwanda and Cape Town killed us in levels, knowledge, and on the field play. I still remember getting shut out by Cape Town, I thought I was gonna vomit. But we outlasted Cape Town and closed the gap on Rwanda. You never know what the future holds....

Great Post.....It was nice to start in Africa Pro, but looking back with money being the same (I thought Bort said Pro's would get more) I wish we were in AA starting out.....I had a great group of guys in season 3 and think we would be in APL right now, with a hell of a lot of money.....But thats the way it goes....6 seasons two playoff appearances, and a whole lot of fun...Sad it might end with a team that wants to be here compared to a team that doesn't...You can bet like I said all the time, I will not quit.
