Sadly, with the current recession I have had to cut back my scouts and reporters thus we can no longer monitor GM's alcohol consumption prior to game planning and as a result it is no longer taken into account. If GMs or team reps want to post in the forums what they are under the influence of while game planning, I would be happy to take that information into account when making predictions.

I hope whoever moves up to AAA is ready to do so. Chiang Mai has been a disaster.Empyiek is it your season finally?

Maybe. I doubt were ready though. Our advantage if we decide to go up is that recruitment will be easier and we already have the best game planning in the league (and thats why the Gangsters are struggling - theirs sucks) along with a stadium that will be completed this offseason. Theres a part of me though that only wants to get promoted if we win the title. Just for the old guard.

Our team wasn't ready for AA ball yet, as you can tell, so I'll be glad to be back in the A leagues again for next season. Everybody pad your stats against us this season. . .we'll be back in season 10.

However, doing the Florida Marlins thing and selling off players for cash has been good for us this year. We'll have the whole stadium done execpt for the last 2 sections in season 9. Sorry for not being competitive, but blame Bort for moving us up here in the 1st place. We were a 3rd place team in A ball and got moved up after our first ever WINNING season. A little premature, but I can't control Bort.

I can relate to that. We were the fifth best team in our A league due to chemistry and got bumped only because we beat the 4th best team in the playoffs. Not complaining though. id rather have a 6-8 win season in AA then 16-0 in A. We already beat the team that will win the A title in a scrimmage.

I can't speak for my OC, (though he's not seemingly having any RL issues that I know of) but we just plain got beat yet again. I actually gameplanned my ass off, yet again. We have been raped by the turnover bug. And somehow, our offense just gets stymied when it matters most. No amount of gameplanning can counter the sim's ultimate will. At least that's how it seems anymore. I think one of our agents said it best, "GLB hates us" this season.

Really though, the biggest thing this season is the utter parity in our league across the board. Even the bottom-half teams from seasons past have caught up level-wise. The sim is so finicky now that 1 big play or 1 turnover can completely change a game, no matter what the score. At least that's my take.

we were the best team when we got moved up and still got thrashed our first year (5-11). i Think no matter what, a little adjustment is usually required, as tactics and gameplanning become more important. We're the real deal this year, only losing in OT to the #2 last week. I smell a home game!

That pretty much says it. There will be a lot more parody this season like real football which should make it more fun. I'd say once your in the playoffs anything can happen. Even a 1 vs. 8 upset.

Your team isn't going anywhere unless you cut your roster and go slow build before the season ends. Danang will get moved down, you won't.

Well, with todays win, does that now make us the #1 team?

Great game Headhunters!! Your defense is just superb. My two boys woke your team up after the 1st two TDs, and we were just fortunate enough to hold on to the win.

GG. That opening kick off return was bullshit and cost us the game. I really hope we meet again.

BTW - It makes you the #1 team in the standings...

Yeah, I really cant complain about it, but I do see your point. Not sure if it a result of the endorsement kicking in, the fact I boosted my strength, or that I re-did all my vet points. Maybe it was a combination of all.

Even with that, I am proud that I had a 100 yard rushing game against you guys, its not that often you guys allow that, I think when I looked you only allowed one prior.
