We actually get punished in end of season rankings now, because we played them before they went CPU.

With 5 gutted/CPU teams, should not be too hard to make the playoffs.

You shouldn't, I feel bad for the teams that will miss the playoffs in LC that could probably be in the top 5 in the EC.

I think plenty of people just don't know how to loose or deal with the building process. After a couple seasons of loosing they just quit.

I'll agree with that. There are those that feel like if they aren't promoted within 2 seasons then there is no point continuing. Trust me, I can't imagine the headache that some owners have with recruiting new players each season and convincing them to stay for an extended time especially after they aren't finishing 1st or 2nd in the league each year. Luckily, if you find a group of players that you feel comfortable with and they trust in you, you can get a good thing going whether it takes a couple seasons or three. We have been here since season 3, but I feel confident that we can promote and be competitive (based on what I have seen in AAA) in the future.

Pretty sad to see EC deteriorate so much. Back in the day when the UN was here with BBE, Congo Horror, Comoros Crocodiles, etc., the EC was miles ahead of the LC...

Add Lake Victoria Sharks to the list of casualties in EC.

EC just isn't getting the Bailout deals. Government has deemed Lion Conference to big to fail, so Elephant tax dollars are being used to prop-up the competitor actually

That puts the count up now to three slow build teams (Happy Hour, Antarctican & Kenya) and 3 CPU teams (Lake Victoria, South Tejas & Cairo). Only two legit teams in EC won't make the playoffs this season because of this.

I have to give big ups to the LC teams who haven't waved the white flag. It seems like the "in" thing to do is to quit when you're getting your heads caved in by better teams. The thing is there will be several teams getting promoted to AAA next season, and when those teams are gone, the teams left behind next season will have a better shot at the title.

Man I thought the Sharks were going to stick it out and come back strong. I really thought the Sharks were a big part of Elephant in the first season, along with Cairo and N.W.O. It sucks to see them all go CPU.

Not everyone can be a playoff team every year. I want to see Pullman, the Comoros Lions, Djibouti and Zambia come back with a vengeance next season. I know Madagascar will. Who's to say they won't have championship-level seasons in Nine?

I mean, all you have to do is look back to Good Old A#5 - The Skeeters, God love them (sort of), are undefeated right now.

I'm pretty sure Jaxon will come in here shortly and claim that the EC teams are quitting due to the prospect of having to face Brando Voom in a league championship game. I'm sure it will be something along those lines, at least.

It's painfully obvious I've been on too many teams with that douchebag, since this is one of the first things that came to mind as to why EC is disintegrating.
