There is nothing wrong with being confident. I don't get being publicly overconfident.

There is always a *chance* that you'll beat the Crush. Your 1-3 record against top teams suggests you won't do it. You being confident doesn't help (or hinder). So why put that out in public so that we can quote it back and laugh when the Crush pounds your team (if they do)?

I'm confident that the PAIN can beat the Falcons. But I also *know* that the Falcons can beat the PAIN. And I think that the Falcons know that two. There is no need for us to threaten that we're going to make a game of it, or that we might beat them (or vice versa). They are a great team, and beating them would be a huge accomplishment for this season. Or it will be a huge wakeup call for us to make some changes for the playoffs.

Either way, I don't see the need for an "OMG we're going to beat you" post.

Exactly. And if he is to thin skinned to face any sort of rebuttal or remarks concerning it after the fact then he shouldnt be bloviating in the first place.

This thread was started for our last game, but it just so happens that good 'ole cocky krwynn had to chime in and run his mouth. I pretty much told him that I am confident that we can give them a game with the proper plan, and that he shouldn't take people so lightly. Why you're bringing up my record against top teams is beyond me. This really had nothing to do with you or any team in the east for that matter. I'm not going to apologize to any of you assclowns for being excited on what we have achieved or far we have come. And where did you get this "OMG we're going to beat you"? Maybe you and krwynn should attend the same comprehension class. I said that he should not overlook opponents as I feel we can give them a close game, if not beat them.

The very fact your failure to detect sarcasm proves that.
Credibilty went out the window when you have shown time after time your inabilty to count. However, as someone who isn't fool enough to judge others based on what is said in a game forum, I would say it had more to do with math skills than credibilty.
