I absolutely hate owners like that! You spend money building players and then they get traded and miss out on game XP or get traded to a team that plays your player 10 plays a game and there's nothing you can do but be sure to get that NO TRADE clause in your contract! One of my Linebackers went through that and I decided to stop boosting him because he missed out on so much game XP. Those owners that sign you and 3 days into the season they decide to slow build should be shot! I'll be sure to stear clear of oo7!!!!

My Free safety played for your team the first year when you stopped paying your players by the end of the season, and the next season when your team got upgraded to AA you got rid of your existing team for higher leveled players. That apparently was unsuccessful because now you apparently nixed that idea! Get downgraded to Africa A where you belong!

Owners are well within their rights to look out for their own interests. Just don't be surprised when acting like a jackass precipitates this kind of a reaction. Agents are well within their rights to post on these forums warning other agents about shitty owners, and frankly, GLB is better for it.

It's owners like oo7 that make good owners' lives difficult, trying to sign agents who a skeptical as fuck because they've been burned in the past.

the "you should own your own team" really doesn't hit home for me. I like my team, but I think a big part of GLB is the social aspect of it and working with others to form and build a winning team is really part of the fun of it all. Winning isn't much fun if you have no one to share it with IMO.

If I retired all my guys and went slow build I could probably handle boosting 1 team with mostly all my own guys, but it would just seem very boring to me.

#1 Your facts couldn't be more wrong about what happened but not having to deal with agents like you going forward is a blessing.

#2 I've been an offensive, defensive and special teams coordinator. Had control of finances and trades! Why do I need to own a team to know how to do it with integrity. Almost all my players are on teams that have an owner I trust!!!! That's all I need!!!!!
