if their is a lessening in broken tackles it will only be because people upped their tackling after last season's fiasco

It is hard to say after only one game in this season ,but I doubt Bort did any major changes about braking tackles...
What I assume is -like Stone Mason said - that people will start to focus on tackling aggain after many of us negleckt (back seven) building tackling skill after we softcap it!

Not many people will raise tackling. 99% of people want to see sacks, FF's, INT's, PD's etc. They could care less about their team winning a game as long as they can brag in the forums how awesome their guy is doing sacking the QB.
