We spent two miserable seasons in A8 and BBB15 and suffered the lumps most slow-build teams go through. S7 looked to be our first competitive year, but Bort rolled out VA's, which destroyed the ability of slow build teams to compete with teams 10+ levels higher than them, even though they had better builds. We finished S7 14-2, but we were blown out by the only quality teams in our conference.

We look forward to an exciting season here in A8. We may be outgunned, but we will be competitive, and we will make the playoffs. We will also wipe the floor with Destin, which they are well accustomed to.

Welcome back to your former home I feel you on that vet points problem you're having. Houghton Gremlins suffered the same mega-problem last season. While we're in a good position this season, we'll still feel it vs teams with players in this league 5 levels higher than us. That's enough to gain an extra +10 in something and does make it really hard to compete with newer players.

GL to you, but expect a massive fight to get close to the playoffs....A8 turned into a seriously badass competition last season and it looks to remain very tough this season too even though the top few from each conference moved up...the remaining good teams from BBB came up to replace em. This'll be another hell of a season for A8.

Without the vet points...it feels like playoffs may be a pipe dream for you this season, but next season you should be in a good position if more teams further up USA fold next offseason causing more upflow.

Nevertheless, thanks for the warning We'll take you seriously come gametime

I am confident we make the playoffs this season and probably the championship next season...

welcome back purples. You guys may squeak into the playoffs i can believe that. I dont forsee you guys being one of the top 3 seeds though. Last season was the best season for competition and it was one of the most fun watching the games play out. Poor destin

Yeah, I'll admit I've always had a flair for the dramatic.

Although back to back OT games is really nothing to sneeze at.
