I'm sure if Sludge Guts ran the ball as many times as Baz, Sludge would have killed him.

Baz- 8.8 yds per carry
Sludge- 10 yds per carry.

That seals it for me but we could all argue the stats until we are blue in the face.

end of the day i put the thread in our forum to point guys towards it. nowhere did anyone indicate only 1 person from a team can vote, so i didnt see the problem. i would have thought everyone would have told their players about it. more votes makes for a better poll

didnt ask anyone to vote for our guys tho

yeah except he didn't.......would you also say that IF sludge guts ran the ball more London would have been in the championship instead of limerick?
1.2 yards per carry still doesn't equal 14 touchdowns........this is not to say sludge guts isn't a good back. my point is that there were 4 backs that had more yards.....4 backs that had more touchdowns.....ask yourself this would limerick have won all those games without Baz.......

Lets keep it Honest and vote only 1 time per Owner or GM. Here are your Polls Lets set an end date for 2 days after the Championship game.

Honestly ricksta I didn't see it either until after the first couple times I read it.

It happens guys, honestly though it did make for better polls. To be honest, This isn't a failsafe way here either. About half of the teams didn't even send me nominations. Those team had players that deserve to be on the list as well. It is a work in progress. The more participation the better though. Next season I will prob open it up to everyone for voting. I may just pick the top rated guys in each league according to the pro bowl script. I'm not sure yet. I do like this way though. Giving us the chance to actually vote for who is the best. Its impossible for me to track though. You guys let me know which you would like. Ill go with the majority

A bit delayed, but just read over the thread, and thought I'd toss an idea for next season:

We had someone in SA AA2 a couple seasons back that ran the nominations off of GoogleDocs, that way you can restrict who has access to it by email address. Then you have each team's owner(or a GM, or whoever they want to handle voting) send you their email address, so you can grant them access to the sheet. This way, you allow only one person from each team to vote...AND, since you can see how people are voting, you can also restrict teams from voting for their own players(something that should happen, imo). If this time next season rolls around and I have the time, I'll gladly toss you some assistance if you want to put something a little more stringent in place.

BTW...nevermind my avi, I disbanded my team from SA AAA, and now have some players w/Cork City. I imagine I'll get around to changing my avi eventually.

Just like the Zeta voting, I doubt anyone else even voted for my league leading tackler SS who tied with someone who had almost 200 fewer tackles. Doesn't matter though because I have the award and they have herpes. I sabotaged his toothbrush South Park style.
