Actually, the ones I did let go of I felt guilty about.
But we had the opportunity to make some big upgrades at key positions and be much more competitive this season.

You guys redid the entire roster! Lol

Wildfire had nearly a 100% retention rate both seasons. We lost one guy after season 6 b/c he was unhappy about equipment (who is laughing now, we're going to make over $40,000,000 in ticket sales next season b/c of planning LOL), and after season 7 we lost two players to their own teams b/c they needed them.

Fortunately, due to networking and good word about the team, I've had about 10 agents ask me to join. No recruiting necessary. From the looks of it, we'll have 100% retention after this season as well.

If you're cool with people, manage your team well, and have good success then you should attract good people as well. Kudos on your success, Octo.

That's the way to do it for sure! You can usually tell from (team) forum activity which agents are going to stick around. I've been kind of torn between which agents I prefer--agents with tons of players that GM 30 teams, or agents with 4-5 players. They both have their pros and cons...

The agents with tons of players build strong players, boost, etc., and often just forget about the guy and he ends up doing fine but the owner has NO input in the player's build direction. They are also a flight risk, IMO.

The 4-5 guy agents usually have worse builds, are less likely to boost down the road, but are in for the long haul.

Just my observations

I only have 2 players and always boost and have faithfully served our team for 4 seasons now. I don't think another teams OC wants to say SS THUNDER GOD has a weak build.

ROFL! Says one of my two most loyal members, with... 5 agents, always boosts, and has sick-nasty builds :-D

I guess my own team has proven me wrong!
