Who did I challenge exactly? I believe I pointed out that I didn't know how competitive we'd be in this league right away, hence showing this league respect. I did go on to say that at some point we would be a great team in this league. You may consider that delusional, but that doesn't mean it is not true.

Cuz once we catch up even a little bit with you all it will be GAME OVER FOR THIS LEAGUE, and the Current will move on to bigger and better things. I have not even looked at a single team in this league , yet I know we are getting CRUSHED in levels, and WE WILL BE VERY COMPETATIVE in our first season here. If we are similar in levels with the teams here our stay may be a very very short one!!! FEAR THE CURRENT will be established whether you like it or not. Our level 1 players didn't fare so well in our first season...., our level 13's made the playoffs, and got run first game. Our L20-28 guys ran ROUGHSHOD though the league despite being out-leveled by about 10 levels to the good teams. We finished in the top 8 of the BBB tourney, despite being out leveled by about 12 levels every game.

As Ed pointed out, get your shots in now and you better move up while you can, lol.

In all honesty, I believe the Current WILL compete this season and will likely make the playoffs. Their overall rating is at 54 which is above probably half of A4 right now. I just don't like teams that run their mouths incessantly.

News Flash(Dateline day 40 Season 7)

According to unconfirmed reports it takes 3 years slow-building a team for them to be good. The recently promoted Niagra Current hopes to storm into Canada A#4 in season 8, and despite being 10-12 levels behind the curve they expect to be competitive. An inside source was heard saying "we've worked long and hard on our training system and despite our early lumps, we now have the ball rolling in the right direction". A league spokesman after hearing these comments, stated "I understand the purpose behind slow-building, but the competitor in me would never let me "suck" for 2-3 seasons so I could be good later". Another spokesman was overheard saying "most slow builds fizzle out, because of the time commitment and the loss of 1-2 key agents can spell certain doom for most slow builds". Maybe the Current do have it going in the right direction, and the quality of the builds could easily make up the level disparity. But from personal experience, builds and players are no where near as important as solid tactics and game-planning, and competing 10-12 levels behind with slow builds is much easier than doing it without them.
