But if you're promoting 5 or 6, like has happened recently, this system is really screwed. Winning the conference in the regular season should guarantee a team at least a fourth spot in promotion order -- along with the other team that wins its conference.

Although this is true we can't predict how competitive the Conference is going to be.Take my team for example Garuda has been a stronger Conference than Naga the past 3 year in SEA A2. I have finish 12-4 : 16-0 : 15-1 but if i had been in Garuda i would probably had finish 10-6 : 13-3 : 14-2.

For me its a slap in the face to teams like HVSM, Lea Lea and the Frogs who beat me in the regular season.

Feel free to chime in, either to agree or disagree. I think it's something worth at least debating, and your posts can help keep it near the top.

I can't imagine how it's good for the overall competitiveness of the league if the Sting come back and put up another perfect regular season next year because they are stuck with a fluky playoff result against a team they already beat.

Any update on who many teams getting promoted?
