This.

Not to encourage the Lobbins' behavior, but seriously, Garrick Roemer? The guy was pulling a 61% completion rate in the same conference as Lobbins' 79% completion rate.

I think this system is flawed.

Its not perfect but I figured this was the best way to do it and give everyone a fair shot. If you hve a better method it would have been nice to hear it earlier this week when we were trying to come up with something

First off, Thanks for doing the grunt work and getting this together.

Maybe for S8 we can do a Special Teams MVP instead of "other" or we could just nominate 1 offense and 1 defense and leave it at that.

Kaizen baby!

stats aren't everything, imo he lead us to some big drives throughout the season and has been clutch thats why he was selected of course he threw some picks but give him a break, look at our line we had 3 guys in the lows 20s all season

I know he played better this season, but as the team owner, our job was to pick our 3 most valauable players, I'm not the owner of Dresden so i couldnt nominate Lobbins

League leader with 405 pancakes. #2 had 320. I mean, DAMN. 'Nuff said!

Prodigy Rodriguez HB
Prodigy was #2 in the league in rushing with 4,587 yards and 71 TDs. He had 268 broken tackles. He also had 3 KR TDs, tied for 2nd in the league, and would surely have led the league for the third season in a row if we hadn't taken him off KR for a while mid-season.

Dexter Pain SS
Dexter was 2nd on our team with tackles (and only 3 misses) and had 2 pick-sixes. It is difficult to quantify the impact Dexter has on our defense.

Montique Higgins

100% clutch player - Ice in the veins I tell you.

Here is how I justified mine

HB Marshall Campbell - 243 carries for 3,187 yards / 13.1 ypc / 199.2 ypg / 70 TD's / 11 catches for 232 yds / 5 TD's / 0 Fumbles
This guy was in the top 5 in league stat wise, but split time with another HB & FB who combined for 292 carries and over 2200 yards & 41 TD's. 0 fumbles in the whole season. He finished # 5 in yards and had 101 less carries than the leader.

WR David Cunliffe - 108 catches for 2,409 yards / 39 TD's / 22.3 ypc / 150.6 ypg / 10.8 yac
Led the league in TD's. 3rd overall in yards with 69 less receptions. Led the league in avg yards at 22.3 and only had 3 drops all season.

CB Dicken Abox - 54 tackles / 7 Int / 2 IntTD / 83 PD / 47 KR / 30.4 avg / 4 TD's
Played a solid season at CB and was top 5 in PD's. Also #2 in the league in KR avg with 30.4 and led the league with 4 KRTD's

Actually I'm pretty sure you're usually not supposed to nominate players on your own teams, because that's fucking retarded. Otherwise you just have people nominating all players from their own team.

This can still work, now every team has nominated their 3 best players. I say now when teams vote, they are not allowed to vote for any players on their team. This way we can let the other teams decide if your player was most deserving.....just my thoughts. The players I nominated were the MVP's on my team for whatever reason, now just because they are MVP of my team doesnt necessarily make them the MVP of the league. I am fairly confident that all the people voting would take this serious enough to submit educated votes.

btw - thanks to PityTheFool for all of the time and effort put into this!

I'm really just complaining from an intellectual point of view, since I don't think anybody on Dresden actually cares enough to get worked up about letting everyone else know how awesome their dots are.
