(l)East top 3 teams are strong passing teams. If you want to beat the best of the WEST, you have
to go against Manitoba's DE's, Vancouver's CB's, or Cincy's all around pass D.

If it's one of the top 3 east teams, that's a matchup that favors WEST.

It's hard to predict what will happen in the playoffs. From what I have seen this season there are probably 6 or 7 teams with the ability to win the gold cup. It all comes down to game planning now. So we will see who has what it takes!

Dude Arroz's pass D beat two of their top three...If our pass defense can hold them just about any team in the West can..

Look at it this way...

Windsor threw 21/40 passes on us for just 2.9 yards a pass. - They are ranked 2nd in the East.
Toronto threw 41/64 passes on us for 5 yards a pass with 2 INTs - They are ranked 1st.

It's a traditional scrim against a friendly rival.
We don't game plan, and usually swap position players around for fun.

Nope. I didn't even know that game was scheduled until after it was simmed, so I wasn't able to change anything on offense. We were still using the AI that I set specifically for the Marauders, which was quite a bit more conservative than I usually run. Whatever though, it's not important.

What's all this talk about the top East teams being one dimensional passing teams? I believe the only one this applies to is Toronto.

Nova Scotia Lions are 5th in rushing (28.1 ppg, 42.8 rpg)
Black River Rats are 6th (42.3 ppg, , 33.9 rpg)
Thunder Bay Marauders are 7th (38.7 ppg, 39.4 rpg)
Windsor Warhammers are 9th (37.1 ppg, 38.6 rpg)

Are they really one dimensional?

Well we never once touched any of our AI for either of our sims, we ran the same AI we ran for the team we were facing. So yeah point made. Plus our defense sucks so any AI should be able to beat us.
