I've noticed a fairly big improvement in pass Ds over the past few games...I wanted to really put that to the test tonight against ya'll. You guys were good going in on pass D, but I can definitely see that something has changed, just looking across different games.
And yeah, definitely was cocky to think I'd win by 21.
I was referring to the part I bolded. *this* game was the A5 game of the week and you acted like it was just another game on the schedule. We beat you guys last year in a scrimmage, won the BBB10 crown, and I just felt like you dissed us with that comment. Can't wait to play you guys again.
Bort's VA implementation really has made it hard to even be a few levels under the competition. But it'll all come together.
Well, I mean...I hate to say it as it wasn't intentional, but you're right. I really overlooked our game as being challenging. You beat me after last season when I didn't gameplan for ya'll. It is awesome that you guys ran the table last season in the playoffs, but you're fighting to get in them this season, so I really didn't think that our game would be that good of one. And, in point of fact, I was right, Edmonton did pull a surprise on us making the story of the top 6 teams even more convoluted.
