1 Southriding Sting Rays 12-2-0
2 John Deere Tractors 11-3-0
3 Kilkenny Cannibals 11-3-0
4 Limerick Vikings 11-3-0
5 Grim Reapers 10-4-0
6 Cork City Wildcats 9-5-0
7 Bow Street Runners 8-6-0
8 Dublin Drunken Monkeys 8-6-0
9 Transylvania Bloodsuckers 7-7-0
10 Warsaw Water Buffalos CPU 6-8-0
11 London Underground 4-10-0
12 Amsterdam Arctic Blast CPU 4-10-0
13 Glastonbury Knights 4-10-0
14 London Death Monkeys 3-11-0
15 The Berlin Skulls 1-13-0
16 Sweden Army 0-14-0

With 2 games to go, the picture is getting clearer. 9 teams are fighting for the 8 spots as Warsaw has gone CPU and expects to not be in the fight.

Transylvania is one game behind and should finish with at 8-8 unless they can upset the Tractors.

The Drunken Monkeys hold the last spot right now and should beat the Death Monkeys, which would all but seal the playoffs up for them as they beat the gang from Transylvania. A win over the Runners could move them up a spot in the standings.

The Runners hold the 7th spot but face the Drunken Monkeys in the last game of the season and have a matchup with Limerick in their next game, so they could end up at 8-8. The Runners did beat Transylvania, so they should be playoff bound unless the Trannies can win both remaining games to finish at 9-7.

Cork City is in the playoffs and cannot get into the top 4 seeds, so they are on playoff game planning mode.

The Reapers need help to get a home playoff game as they are one game behind. They can help themselves by beating Kilkenny in the next game - a big one for both teams. If they lose that game, they would need either the Tractors or the Vikings to lose both of their last games.

The Vikings have the 4 seed but can drop out of the top 4 if they lose their last 2 games. Since they face Southriding and Bow Street, it is not out of the realm of possibility.

The Cannibals can lock up that home playoff game with a win in their next game with the Reapers. Their last game is against the Underground who are better than their record shows, so the season is not over.

The Tractors have almost locked up a home playoff game and have a shot at the top seed. They face the Bloodsuckers and the Death Monkeys so they can end up 13-3. They need the Stingrays to lose their last 2 since they lost to Southriding this seasn to take the top spot.

The Stingrays need to win one of their matchups with the Artic Blast and the Vikings to claim the number one seed. Should be easy as their next game is against a CPU team.

Good luck all

I dont think its as simple as 1 win for us Rays and we get no 1 seed. If we lose to Limerick then its going to go down to tiebreakers which i think will be decided on points scored.

Can't we? We did beat Limerick. I forget what the tie-breaking procedures are in this game.

From what I know, it is head to head then points. If more than two teams are involved it is record against each other.

That being said, Cork City would need to win both games, Limerick would need to lose both and Grim would have to lose both. I guess that the other 11-3 teams could lose both to make it interesting. I just figured the chances were so slim that I made my original statement.

I think the teams for the playoffs in Alpha are set, the question now is the seeding, a lot could happen there yet.

Should be the same in Zeta. I think the Assassins have been eliminated due to a tie breaker. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
