I never mentioned anything about my team. We definitely had a couple of bad games in there, and we have struggled with our game planning a little this season. My opinion is still the same, you guys end up no better than the 4 seed.

That will be hard to do since we only have 1 loss and have 3 easy wins in our remaining games. So the worst we will finish is 13-3, and only two other teams can reasonably expect to finish that well. But, hey, you never said you were good at counting!

See that kind of prediction takes us back to how bad your team is. Of course, we're also playing Virginia, who already proved they're a better team than Omaha. So are you predicting Virginia beats us? Why? Just because they beat YOUR team?? Seriously, beating Omaha is not much of an accomplishment.

Omaha's best showing all season was probably their victory last week over the Gladiators. But it's still hard to reconcile your optimistic vision of Omaha as a team that could run the table with the team that lost to Virginia, and just 3 games ago had the stuffing beat out of them in a huge, 35 point loss to Possom Trot. As stated, depending on the game, Omaha looks as good as a 4 seed or as bad as a 7 seed. I think Omaha should be far more concerned about not being upset by the Mighty Chihuahuas than to try to fabricate unrealistic scenarios where they suddenly become good enough to beat CCIA and Timpanogos.

Seriously? You better get better bait if you want to get the fish to bite.

Don't get excited just because your team got mentioned. Heck, we're discussing Omaha, which is an even worse team than Virginia. Nothing to see here. Move along.

It just makes me laugh how easily you want to dismiss a team that is sitting right next to you in the standings.

Your last 2 sentences describe to the T what value your opinion and posts hold.

Yea we're 10-1 they're 8-3 practically the same thing right genius? Of course after we beat them next game they might fall to 8th place, so yea, they're awesome, for a team one game from falling almost out of the playoffs.

Everyone values things differently. Obviously winning isn't high on your value list.

I don't gameplan or any of that tough stuff for Omaha, but I am a member of the team and I'm slightly confused as to why you think your team is so much better than ours. The team that blew us out beat you guys too (granted you lost by quite a bit less than we did). And you still haven't played the #2 and #4 teams who beat us by a combined six points. So what exactly is your reasoning behind your assumption that your team is better than ours. There's really not enough info to make a real decision at this time. However, I do agree that we aren't much better than a #4 seed at best right now.

I have a pretty good handle on the relative strengths of various teams in the Western conference, no matter what their nominal record is right now. Look at the first post in this thread, for example. I may not get everything exact, especially some of the weaker teams, but I'm not far off, especially with the stronger teams. If you're still not convinced, just wait two days for further proof.

Funny....that's how we feel about CCiA...since you have beat a grand total of ONE good team in the last 2 seasons....or ever for that mater.

Again, you'll need to define "good team." Last season we beat then Tennessee Fury , Timpanogos Thunder and New Jersey Blaze, to name a few. Please define the term "good team" first so we can discuss further if you're just clueless or genuinely brain dead.

I would consider those good teams. I was only looking at regular season and playoff games....teams don't always prepare for scrimmage games the same as a regular season game.
