Give it time. Have you been checking the teams looking for players forum?

The simple truth is

1. Most of the players with good builds are on GLB a lot
2. They won't play for someone unless they recognize them from the forums or a past team
3. They usually have established a network of friends who get first dibs on their players
4. There are dozens of average Joes who have never spent any time in the forums for every power gamer

Veni, Vidi, Vici. Well done, Sir.

Most guys with good builds won't play for teams with bad builds because they build good players to win and playing on teams with lots of bad builds makes them lose and thus look bad.

And big contracts are frivolous because a good owner will do minimum-ish salaries then just use the Equipment Funds.

Its also hard because so many bad builds are convinced that they're good. Exhibit A - DTs under 30 with Tackling over 60.

I have 35+ players; I own a team and GM nine others. I'm on GLB more than Bort and rarely would anyone I don't at least know third party land a player of mine.

Haha. I found today a LVL 20 CB with 55 in tackling and 35 Speed. Its crazy.

or if you watched real football a cover 2 corner....stupid how this game is all about spd/agi

While I agree zones still suck and you can't build a cover 2 CB as a result, that is not a cover 2 CB.

A cover 2 CB at level 20 with equipment (even though he would peak way too early) should look like

55 speed, 65 agility, 55 vision, 20-25 strength, 20-25 tackling

it's moot though because zone defenses still suck

Zone defense works just fine.

If you read on the message board everybody say Speed/Agility for basically all positions. And that is the key for good players. But when your recruiting. 75% of the players are terrible slow at there level. I'm working on recruiting a 21 capped team for season 8. I'm finding 40 or 50 speed Level 20 players, lol. Corners, Linebacker, etc. I didn't realize until I started recruiting how hard it is to find good builds on GLB.

There's little incentive to build good players. As long as Bort follows the, release enough teams to meet the needs of every single player, there's really no need to build a great player, or to correct your bad build, that isn't going to change because you'll be able to find a spot pretty much no matter what.

Right now, I could build a DT, put enough points in strength to get the bar up, and spend the rest of my points on confidence and punting, keep his build closed, and still find a team every single season.

I doubt anyone is actively seeking out your players anyway.
