when i think mvp i think where would the team be without that player. i think bruiser has been totally dominating, but i think if you took him out of the equation and put an average running back in that stockholm would still put up those numbers. take matt moore from berlin and they cant pull off their style of offense and wouldnt dominate the teams they have.

I give a TON of credit to the OL,GM's and team that has put Gorilla in the position to have a GREAT season up to this point. But if you think an AVG. RB is capable of pulling off those runs in the second level you are sadly mistaken. In fact Gorilla is THE only RB in the league to avg 10+ypc(12.8) and a TD every 4 carries. The OL escorts him to the DL where its ALL Gorilla after that If you are talking about who absolutely carries a winning team as the heart and soul, probably not Gorilla. But avg RB's DO NOT pull off runs like that

I'd hate to toot my own horn, but you're forgetting that "other guy" you're tied with.

And 8 levels below you as well. I wonder what would have happened if I was at the same level as you? Still though, O-lines don't get enough credit, and trophies were made for teams, not just a player.

Well that's the problem with these MVP things, they are so subjective(its why the NBA went the easiest formula of the best player on the best team). I never claimed to have the League best RB nor have the best build of the bunch. But am simply saying that AVG rb's aren't capable of doing what Gorilla does. Our OL in Stockholm gets all the credit for taking care of the big things, the DL and the blitzers. Gorilla just finishes in the secondary what they start in the trenches, and more efficiently than all the rest of the HB's up to this point, based off of statistical data and replays. My only point is that Gorilla is far from an AVG HB.

i never implied he was. i was saying if you stuck an above average rb in that situation he would do very well, and put up top 5 numbers. what im saying is take the bruiser off the dynamites, and you still have an undefeated team with a first rate rushing attack. i look for the players that if they werent on that team, the team just wouldnt be nearly as good. thats how i justify mvp.

offensive poy? bruiser for sure.

Gorilla does all this work splitting carries with a 1700+ yd rusher and has the #1 passer in the league. If Stockholm's offense was more skewed towards the run like Helsinki's, Gorilla would have about 3500 yards and 65 TDs by now.
