that game wasn't really a beating--closer than the score. the turnover battle was the key in that one.

Well that game hurt. Damn nice work Medan. Maybe we just got lucky in our strat vs Taiping. I still see a good playoff shot for the Rangers but not far if anywhere once we get there. Maybe next season for us.

Again, very nice work Shipwreckers. =)

Top Matches of Game 11

Bacolod Rangers at Shanghai Buccaneers

The Buccaneers have been quiet with their 10-0 start but have a reputation of performing well above
their apparent level after making the playoffs last season immediately after promotion and doing it
as a top seed. Bacolod is playing teams hard but will have a tough day in Shanghai.

Ujung Pandang Warriors at Minions of Zeus

Old teammates battle in a match under Zeus's gaze. Valakar is an expert of the game and knows
the Warrior's owner's tendencies and football philosophies as well as anyone. Hopefully he had
too many teams and players on his plate to pay attention to them. The Warriors are playing the best
ball of their careers.

69Mafia at Taiping Golden Cats

Taiping is a team who actively and competitively matches up with teams from AAA. While 69Mafia
is hitting their stride, Taiping is well ready to look back on this league. Can 69Mafia put their
pieces back together before continuing on to a 3 game losing streak?

Lets see some expert analysis and commentary ah?

Cheers,
Sahoj

Good writeup. MoZ have a big challenge in front of them (one of many they face over the next few games). We plan to pull out all the stops.

Very nice. Would love to see the Warriors falter just a little this week so we can exploit it for the following game. We need to focus on the Mafia and make sure they continue their streak.

I think the Rangers pull off the upset against the Buccaneers. Something tells me that will be the closest game in NAGA.

Thanks for the writeup...

I am definitely looking foward to our game. 2nd ranked rushing attack and 2nd ranked overall offense against the 2nd ranked passing offense. I am definitely worried as this year it is a crap shoot stopping the pass. Luckily I just signed a solid level 39 CB who can hopefully make some plays for us.

Defense will be the difference as I think we can make a few stops along the way. But our 2nd ranked offense should have no problems against the 27th ranked Bacolod defense. Bucs roll 52-31.

Other games will be good as well. I think we all stay 11-0. Weird how most all of the playoff teams all play each other in the last 6 games.

thanks dude--i spent quite a bit of time gameplanning for this one. tossing and turning last night, in a sweat, muttering "...#1 passing attack" over and over. but the hard work paid off and the ball bounced our way.

best of luck the rest of the season Bacolad.

If I had my druthers in the playoffs would not want to face Ujung until the conference championships. lol. not dissing anyone else, paying more respect to Ujung.

Trying to figure out who is going to boost and who is quite fun. not. I sense a lot of bonus tokens getting spent late in the season by many teams. Wondering if my guys will have enough to temp boost again.

I'll pass on the Ujung Game analysis for obvious reasons, but I have been actively reviewing my navel this evening and have not even looked at the MoZ tape. I'll probably look at porn tomorrow. I think we'll just leave in exactly the same defensive game plan and players. Also, please don't through me in dat der briar patch

Also. I agree with coach -- we ARE playing our best ball right now. The heated discussions in the Warriors forums about tactics and tape just go to show that the strongest iron really is forged in the hottest fire.

On to the analysis!

**Baclod at Shanghai** -- Shanghai has a respectable win over Medan, an inexplicable close game with Chengdu, and a lot of meaningless scoring in the last few weeks against overmatched teams. The number that will mean something is when they score 45 on Baclod's D, while holding Baclod to 24. Baclod is about to go on a winning streak, and I'll predict now their playoff fate will come down to their last game against the Poontang. If they get whipped, they'll have to stay at home (metaphor intended).

**69 v Taiping** 69 has some giant obvious holes in their defense as evidenced by the MoZ tape. A little too obvious for my taste...Is it a trap? Did they leave those holes so as to spring an ambush on Taiping? All will be revealed soon. I think teh cat ignores the trap, doesn't change much, and keeps 69 around to play with a bit before the kill. 69 eats it again. In fact -- you heard it here first, 69 is going into the 3rd game of a 5 game losing streak. They'll still make the playoffs though, and learn something from their 55-30 drubbing at the paws of the Cats

Nothing personal 69 -- calling 'em as I see 'em. I'd love for you guys to prove me wrong.

Here we go, another installment. Many good matchups following.

Game 13

69Mafia at Shanghai Buccaneers

69Mafia continues to drop games in this bloody portion of their schedule. They've had great
opportunity to tune and prepare for Shanghai. This could be a very close match.

Ujung Pandang Warriors at Medan Shipwreckers

The oldest rivalry in SE AA3, with Ujung ahead 3-1. These teams always have dramatic, heated
contests typically decided by who turns the ball over most often.

Minions of Zeus at Taiping Golden Cats
Taiping came out strong versus Ujung last week but showed obvious weakness in their pass defense,
luckily the Minions exhibited the same trouble versus the Warriors and have yet to boast a disruptive
aerial game. Look for a battle on the ground here.

Get your expert analysis out and score predictions!

i'm pretty sure Ujung won in seasons 3, 4, and 6 with the Shipwreckers winning the turnover battle and game in season 5. that takes the record to 3-1 in Ujung's favor.

Medan hopes for a mistake-free game and cannot give up any big plays to the Warriors.

Best of luck Ujung. Always a great game, if only we could get to it without the damn anticipation

The season defining stretch begins this week.

A mistake free game from medan's offense would be awesome. My guys are giving it there all and Eddie Staubach was seen going into the locker room carrying a kitchen sink. Something for the pre-game pep talk i am sure.
