GG Chimpo, Chase and the rest of Kingston. You guys are a class act.

We got absolutely ran off the field today. As far as the offense goes, when we have fewer plays than Revelstoke has points, we're in all sorts of trouble. My well-crafted gameplan certainly didn't transfer to the SIM, and we looked absolutely silly in the process. But when you're going up against arguably the best defensive mind in GLB today, that's prone to happen far more timesthan not.

GG Revelstoke. You guys are all class as well, and at least we can say that we were beaten by the best.

But a good friend told me I should get a team, I had never had a desire to own a team, and I went with it. Its a bear at times because of the $$$ but I enjoy it at this point. I will say this, I have enjoyed OCing more than DCing this season and last. I think OCing after being a DC definately helps.

I agree completely. I started out as a DC on 3 teams (including my own the first season and a half) and was very successful. Now, it's seemingly worthless. Plays that should stuff the run give up huge runs too often. Stopping the pass is basically random against good teams. The only thing you can really do is find ways to blitz a team and make sure you don't leave any players wide open. The last couple seasons, I've converted over to an OC with the Dream and my team and I enjoy it a lot more. Hence why my team's defense is putrid right now and I don't want to take the time to even look at it.

Anyways, gg Revelstoke. We'll be ready to give you our best shot.

I DC for Tonga, and I tend to agree with you: I find DCing monotonous and thankless at times. Especially when the passing logic seems almost crazily random. I can either double-cover a WR in a Cover 2 and have him break a 70-yard TD catch, or I can let him roam all by himself and drop a pass thrown right to him. As you said, it's a crap-shoot against decent teams or better.

Even OCing at times, I'm amazed how wildly varying the results are. I've ran the exact same AI before between Tonga/Kingston against similarly-leveled teams (but I don't make a habit of it, scouters). I've had Tonga go 8/26 and had Kingston go 26/39, again with the exact same AI against like-competitive teams. It's quite baffling at times.

Brodie's numbers tells you all you need to know about offense being overpowered. 80% completion rate at a 70:1 TD:INT ratio in 9 games.

I thought he was just that damned good.

But yes, offenses are overpowered, and always have been in this game. It certainly doesn't resemble realism, especially with upper-end players.
Like my QB Cornbread. Not as good as Brodie, but 73.2% completion, 153 attempts, 2 INTs. Yeah...

Yep...WR's catching in triple coverage tends to kick you in the balls.

RR's wide receivers and OJ are what make that offense go. To have that many catches and so little drops, speaks volumes about their builds. And OJ adds a dimension we didnt have last season.

It's the reason the next loss you'll have will be in Season 8...
