In Alpha there's a fairly high number of Irish named teams too....Dublin, Belfast, Cork and Limerick. Maybe American Football is about to take off on the island of Ireland!!

It could also be that many of the irish bought a team in a league where they saw there was other irish teams?

It seems the Ringriders just can't win away from home. I didn't think Lyon Breakers looked that strong (especially with their owner apparantly locked for multi-accounting), but they still took us to school

Yeah i expected a close game, and was a bit surprised how good they played.
And where did you hear he was locked for multi-accounting?

Well, it's pretty obvious and an Admin wrote me they'd look into it. But now he has logged in again, and I don't know if stuff like that should really be discussed on the forum anyway.

Be interesting to see what Lyon can do against the Mutineers today.

the Paladins are a force to be reckon with. currently 6-2, and out of the remaining 8 games, only 1 will be a fight and 1 other will be a tough matchup. see you all in the championship.

Bah. Ringriders seemed in complete control, but then we lost the 4th quarter 17-0. The match ends 23-27

mauling by Bow Street over Glasgow today puts them at 4th in Alpha.

With Cardiff Bluebirds easily defeating BC Crew and the Rabid Mutineers still undefeated, it seems it will be these two in the playoff championship.

However Rabid Mutineers still has to meet 5 of the 7 teams thats in the top half atm.
Belfast Commandos has so far only lost to us and are looking good with only 3 of the top half teams left.
Frankfurt also got 3 of the top teams left and does have a chance to win our conference.

Off the other teams, we have the easiest opposition left with only 2 of the top teams.
Rinkenęs is gonna have huge troubles getting into the playoffs i think as they are meeting 5 of the top teams.
My guess is that Marseille takes it instead as they look strong and only got 3 of the top teams left.

And JMadsen, i saw that your QB cracked in the 4th quarter.
First failing to get the ball even 1 yard when your down at your own 20, and then with minutes left failing again, losing the ball after one minute.
Not sure but it could have been a morale/confidence issue he was suffering from there.

I don't think there's a team we can't beat in Alpha (we were extremely unlucky not to beat the Mutineers away, for instance), so I'm still pretty hopeful that we'll make the Top 8. But we'll see how things turn out - our primary focus is still maximizing XP for the whole roster.

Mandic has more Confidence than other QBs I've seen around lvl 10, and he seems to be doing quite well if you look at his stats too, so I think today's choke was mostly bad luck. But yes, I am considering even more Confidence (and stuff) with Custom Equipment. Apart from that, I think he's gonna be quite scary when I boost him...


Edit: And I think our Defense had bigger 4th Quarter problems than our QB in that match, by the way.

Yeah rechecking i noticed you had mostly backup receivers out there, which is why it went so badly.
So it wasn't your QB.

watch out for the Vatican Paladins. Since we got our recruiting going we are on a 5 game winning streak and look like we might have an advantage over the Bluebirds

For Belfast, the next three games will probably make or break our season...Dublin Bulls, then at Ringraiders and IKK Fu Rabid Mutineers. Will be interesting to see where the Mutineers, Commandors and Ringraiders are sitting after the next few games!

we planned to play pass but it wasn't efficient enough ...

Well you do have a good team now, however you have no advantage as the Bluebirds got 2 more wins and is on their 8 game winning streak, not to mention still got a slightly better team.
I believe you'll end up in top4, however i just don't see anyone else winning your conference.
