Seriously, shut your mouth. WSI have, as far as I recall, never been anything but classy. You are saying something that is dumb.

Classy would be if they gave the region the respect of changing the "S" to something Oceanic when they swapped into the league during the chaotic swap period.

Whats wrong with the West Samoa Invaders? West Papua Invaders? Something that gives at least a hint of In-Character realism instead of expecting that every other team in the region flies half way around the world every 4 days to play them

West Scranton isn't even an Oceania team, they hijacked from Europe or some crap like that and didn't even have the decency to respect the league with a regional name change.

Does it really matter ?

Yes, because it's a geographical ambiguity and it doesn't represent our region well if our best team is named after a location in another region.

Names like Mean Machine are neutral and other teams are named after locations within our region. It just sucks that the one representative team from our region that is the most well known is also the same one that shows the least respect to the region they play in. The sooner another team displaces them the better IMO.

well to argue that fact...we came from eastern europe....our team name has nothing to do with europe or oceania? and we didn't change either....you have name for 4 or 5 or 6 seasons? why change it? it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks as long as you fine with it....then leave the name the same who cares

Why do you think we play so we'll for home games? We increased depth to have some stay back in Oceania to play away games.

Yeah, West Scranton Invaders is named after a high school club in Scranton Pa.

There she is, http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m123/ScrantonWilkesBarre/West%20Scranton/WestSide115.jpg

Thats where we hold most of our team meetings. Now maybe you understand the chip on the shoulder most of the D has. Most of the offense just meets outside.

If you don't got a power back, it is very difficult this season.

Two speed/elusive backs - Screwed

I have to disagree with you there. It was looking that way through the preseason and games 1-2, but since Bort juiced Head Fake and Juke elusives seem to be doing ok again.

My own team has 2 elusive backs and they have started to come on the past few games. For the first time in several seasons they are breaking tackles or simply causing guys to miss with a fake/juke that is visible in the pbp.

Here's one example of a HB juking a quality SS: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=352024&pbp_id=3840775

I'd agree that the sim is weighted a little more towards power runners now, but good elusives can compete again.

Elusive backs without a maxed out SA or two seem to be struggling more.

Why making such a big deal about this? You won't spend more flex points because you have to play a team named after an american location.

so, im confused. not being an "true" Oceania teams makes them less worhty of being #1? they ended the Machines winning streak and have dominated OPro the last two seasons, who gives a shit what the "S" stands for?

also, i'd REALLY love to see a WSI/Benitios Magellan Cup match up
