If your defender has alot of tackles, ints, sacks, etc. that means he made plays. If your offensive player has lots of yards and touchdowns then they have made plays. When LT goes to the probowl they don't take into account how good his line is they just take into account his yards and touchdowns. It's all in fun and I thought it was well done. Well actually I don't care if getting picked. I just thought an All star team was something more then individual stats. But still I'm just saying when it comes to defence, I don't think a stat like tackles is a good indicator of succes. and it's a big differende if the tackle is a no gain or 5 yard gain

Well, I'll at least give players from my team who I think are deserving.

Obviously LB Hurts Donut and CB Midnight Lightning, who were picked.

HB Lance Justice, averaging 6.4 YPC, better than practically anyone.
WR Lady Snowblood, 236 yards, 4 TDs, probably better than Jacob Roman

QB: I used passing yds and QB rating to determine my picks

HB/FB: Picked by rushing yds, should have picked by YPC and TD

WR/TE: Receiving yds, should have used TD as well

O-Line: Used pancackes

D-Line: Sacks, Hry, TO (FF/FR/INT)

LB: TO, then Sacks, Hry, and Tackles-missed tackles in last resort

CB/FS/SS: PD/Int/FF/FR and Tackles-missed tackles in last resort

K: FG percentage

P: Avg yds/punt

KR/PR: TD then Yds/KR and Yds/PR


I forgot, for the D, if a player had a Def TD, he had higher consideration. If they could keep track of the TFL, it would be a little different


I know this is not perfect, stats do not tell the entire story of a player, but after week 12 and at the end of the season, those choices will be more easier.


At the end of the season, I will try to keep track of all the possible records in this league, going for passing yds to INT, going to rushing yds in a game to PD in a game

what about PD? for that is one of the important stats, much more then tackles

And for o-line, using pancakes will favour running teams and not favour pass blocking players

Oups, forgot PD in the list sorry

Pancackes are the only stats available, if there was a sacks allowed stats, it would be on top of pancackes

Yea I miss some stats really missing TFL...

I think things like missed tackles and dropped passes should come more into play.

I mean Memo Ortiz has 15 dropped passes this season, and some guys with a lot of tackles have also missed a lot too.

Geez Mr Defensive. He has a point. How can you be an allstar when you drop so many passes? maybe if you didnt drop so many you would have more than one td.

In all honesty I think he was just making the point that stats were missing and you just happened to be an example because you were at the top of two stat sheets. I dont think he was taking a stab at you in any other way.
