Yes it does even out at some point. Stay loyal to the guys that got you there, take your beatings for a year or two, then poof you are competitive. The team I have my two CBs on was in a level 13 capped league last season(level 21 capped by the end of the season obviously), we won 1 playoff game, and we were promoted this year also. We haven't won a game yet, but we also didn't go out and sign a single high level player. Hopefully next year we will be a middle of the road team or better, but if nothing else at least we kept the team together.

Thing is, we reloaded. Demoted our starters from last season to backups this season. Sprinkled in a shit ton of level 35+ guys. You can't say it's terrible gameplanning either because we went from 14-2 giving up 6.1 PPG to 0-2 and losing to teams that we outleveled/bar'd. It's just a chickenshit system.

we did the same thing and we're 2-1 right now. We're stickin to our gameplan and hopefully we'll be contenders next year!

1. By doing that you tanked your chem more or less
2. This is a league with real competition not slow building creampuffs everywhere like your conference last season.
3. You gave it a whole 2 games - wow, watchout Cal Ripken theres a new Iron Man in town

For the record i dont think the system is ideal, and ideally maybe there are more steps between lvl 21 cap and
uncapped...but at some point you have to let it loose kind of like weight classes in fighting.
Youre just one of those dudes that would be all impressed with himself for dunkin on an 8 foot rim
over 6th graders down at the elementary school...admit it
.

Yes, Chemistry is at most a 8% hit, assuming it is absolutely dreadful. Ours wasn't by any means.

That weight class analogy is terrible. It's like saying it's totally acceptable for a featherweight to move to heavyweight...in a year. The natural progression is terrible even if you aren't promoted. It's basically Featherweight-Middleweight-Heavyweight. Wait, they added another cork to try and fill the holes right? Featherweight-Middleweight-Lt Hvy-Heavyweight. Downright retarded.

An 8% performance penalty across an entire team is pretty substantial...
4-5% is probably the equivalent of your opponents entire team taking a temp boost
against you!

Noooo....not really what im saying is that in the heavyweight or super heavy or whatever the top "catchall"
weight class is you are on your own...and as you go up they tend to have a wider weight range.
For examples think guys like Butterbean or Brock Lesnar and Tim Silva in the UFC right now or whatever...
They babied you up to level 21(Lets call it Light Heavy ) and now your on your own....
Now there will always be teams filled with better players than yours until your team is all lvl 55-60
which is what Bort has said is the theoretical max before player decline should kick in.. So are you
suggesting that there be caps at 3-5 lvl increments up to 60? Will you then cry when you face teams that
are just built better or have a better AI? Maybe then youll ask for division within the level caps for build quality?
Youd like a guarantee for a winning team without any hard work or pain..I remember you...youre that kid that showed
up to football hell week and went home on day 2 crying cuz it was tough

Anyways ...good luck take care!! Thanks for droppin by!
This forum is for people who are in this league ..you know the non-quitters

Again, a terrible analogy. You just don't get it. You don't take a team in it's infancy and then feed them to the biggest dogs and expect anything less than a throttling. What the fuck is the point of KNOWING you will loss the majority of your games? I don't know if the gears in your head are very sharp or not(all signs point to dull as a butter knife...) but the basis of the competition in this game is just broken. You are a complete fucking mongoloid if you think otherwise. The closest analogy you can give is "going from college to the NFL", this would be great if it were at all true. The NFL is the Pro Leagues here, Not A. A is basically AFL2 or something. I can tell you that a team of college superstars(IE promoted expansion teams) could compete extremely well in AFL2 as AFL2 gets second tier college players. In this game though, top college players get slaughtered by AFL2 teams.

Oh and tycoon, how's my ass taste? You seem to be up in it all the time.

Run along now squirt...we're all done talkin..go play another game..maybe theyll make a simulation called fagball and you'd be the
topdog. Bottom line is thats how the game is ..some people sack up and then people like you fold up tents and whine.

Done talking because you can't form a logical statement?

I seriously loved the "Heavyweight/UFC" analogies. Textbook stupidity right there. Your lack of knowledge of sport and dotfootball is mind-blowing.

Naw, you see you silly mongoloid, I still have a player in this league. So I'll be here for quite a while. In the meantime, read a book or something. My 4 year old nephew could challenge you to a battle of intellect and rope-a-dope the hell out of you.

Don't really know. Don't have the time to study the behavioral patterns of small children. Did my big words just blow your mind?

Yes.
You have blown my mind with your linguistic prowess, but you have also blown my mind with
what a whiny bitch you are. So i guess my mind is double blown... How can someone with such
an amazing "intellect" be such a whiny little pussy all at the same time? Its truly one of the mysteries
of our time. Perhaps we'll never truly understand the complexities of the enigmatic hokegoalie. Perhaps we don't
even care to...
