Jackson is innaccurate, thinks with his feet, not his brain. Rarely looks downfield when he's on the move. has poor footwork which equates to poor accuracy. His best game was the game against NYG, and even then he wasn't great. he gets by on Adrian Peterson, but that won't be enough come playoff time. The vikings never should've cut Thigpen.

He threw 4 TDs and 0 INTs against Arizona a few weeks back and was named NFC player of the week.

He threw 1TD and 0 INTs against the Giants. WTF are you talking about? The giants game was arguably one of his worst.

yea great game but i had a feeling about the cards i wanted the falcons to win but in good weather the cards are hard to beat, and the indy chargers was great, indy had no running game though that killed them

You're right the vikings didn't cut him, but they shouldn't have put him on the practice squad either. Either way, he's a better QB than Jackson.

hmmm I dunno what games you watched but I live in minney and have actually watched all the vikings games and compared to his first 2 weeks as the starter week 1 and 2 to his benching and coming back in the 2nd half of the lions game he was a totally diffrent QB in some cases hes still raw but he must be more accurate then Gus 12 tds 15 picks ( not excatly my pick for managing a game) and as far as thinking with his feet the only game where he has ran for anything was the ATL game and thats the worse game Peterson had all season not neccirly, tjack.. heres the stats for the last 4 games with tjack..

Dosent look like he thinks with his feet with me the only other qb to play the last 4 games with a higher QB rating was P Manning so ya.... I wouldnt say the giants game was his best game either.. Sorry for all the stats but I live and breathe Football and ive noticed a serious change between then and now..

Where was Jackson in that playoff loss? 15 of 35? Maybe he got better at the end of the season for two games. If he only threw 10 passes in the Detroit game, you can't really say he had a great game there. And Arizona's D is known for being soft. I'll give you ATL and NYG though.

The Viqueens will never win the big one with Jackson at QB. Tyler Thigpen had a few great games to, but even though he's better than Jackson, he won't get the chiefs to the big game either.

The problem with that Vikings game.. is the piss poor coaching. 35 attempts? Seriously?

He fell flat like both young qbs did ryan and flacco luckily flacco's defense bailed him out its just a diffrent element in the playoffs you take it in strides.. Hes only started what 20 games? That and the fact it took you this long to rebuttle my previous message dirk after a week, and the only weight you have is that he had a bad game agansist a defense that makes a superstar qbs struggle? So your ability for comparison is really lacking, im not trying to sound like a dick or anything but if thats the best you can do after having a week to talk shit then you should just keep your trap shut.. i am open minded with either tjack or them getting a qb in FA dosent matter to me because the Vikings have a decent football team regardless.. So no, i have not been mulling over how to debate you for these last two weeks. So throw that shit out now. But, now that im back, i'll be more than happy to argue with you. You can make whatever excuse for "T-Jack" but it's obvious, he isn't the guy. You can argue it till ur face turns blue, but he isn't the guy.

He's in his 3rd year as a pro, and is barely showing signs of life. /Clap. Don't try to compare him to Ryan or Flacco, those guys actually made an impact for there teams as rookies, and are already better than jackson. Jackson is a project that has no right to be starting in the NFL right now.

You throw those completion %'s around like they mean something. Well, they don't. Even Ryan Leaf had completion %'s around or above 60%, and we all know how that went, now don't we? Even Thigpen, at one point, was a leader in QB rating, but that doesn't mean he's a superbowl QB. Hell, he did better than Jackson without a stud RB and excellent D.

Im not bashing the Vikings. Yes, Minnesota has a solid team. But Jackson is a #2 QB at best. If he wasn't, he wouldn't have gotten benched for Gus-Fucking-Ferrote, for christ sake.

OF course im a homer I live in Minnesota and nobody in Minney even likes jackson to be honest with youbut Ive seen him being capable of being good its just hes not consistant enough is the problem.. I have no problem with them going out and getting a Vet qb that is actually worthy of starting as the QB i belive tjack though has some potential but hes just not there yet I dunno if he will be or not.. But if Childress is a moron and dosent try to upgrade the postion to some extent it will still be the one thing the vikes will be lacking at the start of next season.. there ownership has shown the last 2 years they will shell out the cash so I mean hey theyve made strides is all I can say lol.. But I wld totally be ok if the trades for Cassel or where capable of getting another starter by some other means thats ok.. But I more or less was defending the cause of him playing besides Gus because granted thats not a pretty picture to paint between the 2 I thought tjack was better lol... I am not completely disagreeing with you at all.. I just was defending my post because I think theres still potential there from an observer stand point and as a fan i am subjactated by some homerism to try to attempt to support him otherwise lol
