as a non booster i can say that i have a major advantage over boosters my level
first i didnt even need to put a single point into vision and i have it around 45. I dont need to put points into minors like stamina, vision,.tackling and crap.
I have 8 vet points and 563 fame at lvl 30.

I am a non-booster and it sucks. You have to team hop, and many teams stay away from you like you have a disease just because you don't boost. So you have to search harder for a team, and then do it all again the next season.

non boosters only real advantage is to stay in lower leagues with like level players...and then keep moving down to stay against like leveled players. Can never really play in AAA or pro.

I was exagerating a little. Usually I can stay with a team for 2 years. The first year I am a starter, then the second year I am usually a backup, then I usually have to find a new job. I do get quite a few offers, but if I forget to say in my post to a team that I am a nonbooster, and then tell them via pm, half of the time they say thanks, but no thanks.

I would assume he meant that he left that team for a lower level one.

If you believe that build > level, then it would wise to look at non-boosters.

The problem is finding an owner who will start a well built non-booster over a poorly built booster.

I played a non-slow built level 29 who's been with the team for 4 seasons at #2 and #3 CB all last season in a AAA league. He even landed a bronze INT trophy out of it.

The biggest difference with non-booster at higher levels is the that they usually don't spend FP on custom equipment either.
While at early levels, the CE is only worth 2.5 levels, it makes a huge difference later on.

A level 30 player with a full set of CE will overcome a non-boosted level 30 player without CE.

That's assuming the equipment is used correctly. But assuming, you had a skill to the third cap at 68, the +6 skill alone would be worth 24 SP. And then you've got the entire +1 to your SA Tree as well.
That's another 5 SP at a minimum.

I have both types of players and have to admit. Boosted wins every time.
And that's why Bort keeps getting my money.

Im a non-booster and was with the same team for 7 seasons. I started the 1st two years and then I backed up the rest. I still got ample playing time and was a big part of the team.

You can stay with a team for a long time as a non-booster if you have a good build, and the owner realizes that. Just be smart with you build.

To me a non-booster with custom EQ is the way to go. Not too expensive, sometimes you got to drop down leagues, but still fun.
