Yeah... I see you guys went 8-8 last year with a average level of 32/33 on your players. And I'm trying to figure out why we got bumped up. I just don't get it... I don't understand. you probably got moved up cause the higher levels had so many CPU/Sold teams they had to take so many teams from Can A2 thus = more teams from BBB moved up. We had like 6 or 7 teams move up from Can BBB#3! I know it sucks being moved up when you finish 4th, 5th or 6th in your league last year, but you have to realize that the top 6 or so teams in here were moved up too. I think this year will be very competitive for a lot of teams, you still will have your top teir, but the seperation from them to the rest will not be that big, imo. Then again, recruiting could blow all that out of the water.

I don't have a problem with being moved up... When someone can compete with the conference that you are moved up to... I would expect that the lower conference that was boosted up to be around the middle of the pack of the next one. Good owner with good players obviously... But in looking this conference... It will be absolutely astounding if we win four games. Astounding.

The owner of Sackville MS already signed our players from last year... Why? Because we are trying to make a team... I thought that was a goal of Bort wasn't it? To *not* have owners that didn't give two hoots about their players? To actually have some sort of positive relationships with the players and owners? You know... To try to get away from single agent teams into a more group MMO type game...?

I'm honestly at a complete loss at the total failure of supposed goals set out. Why is there such linear thinking of moving up and down, and not rearrange side to side from one BBB to another to actually not have complete blow out games?

I feel your pain Tigam. The Western Europe team I GM for got completely screwed because we know from three seasons of previous experience that we aren't nearly as good as the teams we're now matched up with after promotion (which shouldn't have happened as we were only the fifth seed in our conference last season). They clearly over-promoted and it sucks for you guys because you would have been favorites in BBB4, but I believe that you'll still be more competitive than you think.

Thanks for the pick me up... I don't know if we were going to be the favorites in BBB4... But we certainly would have made the playoffs.

We certainly would have won more than 1-2 games.. like we are looking at here..

Besides SEC Speed held the tie breakers with us for promotion it should be them here not us.

I believe you guys were picked over SEC because you had a better showing in the playoffs.

This next season is gonna be fun I think. We're looking forward to the competition.

That wasn't what was supposed to be the Promotion rules.

1. Number of playoff victories ~ Same
2. Number of playoff games participated in (this covers the first round losers over the non playoff teams) ~ Same
3. Regular season wins ~ Same
4. Regular season ties ~ Same
5. Regular season points scored ~ They had more. If this is script based I'm unsure how this happened.

I'm still trying to get out of the "We missed the playoffs by one game and now have a bad pick and nothing to show for it" NFL type of feeling... Getting better as we go along. ( Shhh... It's my first time being promoted )

Meh, Tigam we'll be fine. Between Liz who was the best run stopper in BBB4 and Walter who was the best pass rusher in BBB4 our defense should still be very successful and I know the main offensive improvement of Madden Board at QB should help us.

that SEC team has all lvl 21s and 22s. if youre talking about making sure things are more equitable, it sounds like the right team did move up. though i do agree i dont know why they did given the rules bort set up. must be becaus eyou beat them head 2 head but thats not even listed. probbaly 'regular season wins' should be listed as 'order of your finish'

Go look at the Rebels.... The team that went undefeated in our conference. They beat the team that started this thread for the "superbowl"

I'd rather show a greater player loyalty rather than make alot of them backups to stay competitive. *shrugs* It is what it is.
