Remember, spd/agility DEs don't have 90 speed / 70 agility or the other way around next season. The level 40s with 30 veteran points just went +15% speed +15% agility, and we're looking at close to 100 / 80 builds now, and they get 15 points from boosts to dump more into shed block and tunnel vision.
Save a Bort-nerf next season, we're looking at a much improved defensive line next season.

At best, I'll cap strength after double capping blocking and agility, then capping speed.
Originally posted by PackMan97 just like blocking without str is pointless, agility without speed is not gonna work.
This isn't all that true...
High agility is great but softcapped speed is overkill IMO (unless you got it there by training). So yes, you need some speed, but it's not as extreme as many think.

How does he handle high str DEs? Get pushed around a lot or does the agility balance it out?

bull rush is dead in GLB. been since season 2.
Yup, thats why everyone and their mother are doing agility builds now. Friend actually retired his bull rusher. 100 strength, 65 agility, 48 speed, and 8 in Strong Base = 5 hurries 0 sacks over the past few seasons for him.

I did strength first, then agility, then blocking. I wanted to make a shock block build. I also have the QC SA gear.

I agree with most of this, but I don't quite understand the last line. Bort gave VP to both linemen, and if DEs or DTs want to up their speed/agility with these VP, I see no reason why OTs can't counter this with more agility or blocking. Like always, if OTs are built well, they'll be able to stop most pass rushing DEs.
That's the direction I'm going with my lvl 1 OT. Blocking > Agility > Strength in that order. I agree it's a bad idea to ignore strength, but for OT that's the order I consider to be best right now.
