24 teams moving down divided by 8 A leagues = 3 each.

Doesn't work like that.

It has to be even numbers of moves across the boards, right?

Can't have 4 teams moving up and only 3 down, or similar.

The top 4 teams in AA move up, top 4 teams in A move up

The bottom 4 move.

Then we have the odd number of CPU teams(3) in AA that need to be filled.

I dunno. Its all wacky.

Right. The same number of teams that come down, and equal number will go up, right. But that doesn't mean it's split evenly across the A leagues, for example.

If I counted right, EEPro will have 9 teams coming down. Randy really has to lay off on the mid-tier team hate .

I did calculations last week, and Athens should be somewhere around 5th-7th on the promotion list. Personally, I'd prefer if Athens had one more season to develop before moving up.

You can develop just as much in AA

Develop and tank fan support . The second reason Athens needs to stay in A is to generate enough fan support and cash to build up the stadium so we can afford level 32/40 upgrades. Most of our players are short gear at this point, so we need as much cash as possible to build it up to prepare for the promotion. If we move up now, the best we'll do in our first season in AA is 8-8, and that's nowhere near good enough for cash flow.

And if you stay in A, how many teams are you going deprive of the same thing?

Athens is strong enough to handle AA. Don't be afraid

Thanks m8!

But... I'm backing G33 here 100%. I like you all, but (tbh) not getting farther in playoffs wasn't actually a bad thing for us atm. And deprivation on everyone else is actually our intent nor our problem -- hehehe. This season was awesome for us... but now its time to get major cash flowing. And w/ us only loosing 1 guy after the end of this season, I can finally not stress over so much recruiting! WOO HOO!

Besides... You have my personal invite to daft as much as you want... Just hop into our wake and we'll drag you along for the ride

Hmm, was off by a bit. 14 teams will be dropping from EEPro down to A. Add that to natural promotions/relegations, and that's half a league of turnover.

Yeah but the natural promotion/relegation is included in that 14...

Maybe I am missing something, but I thought it was only 8 teams moving out of EE PRO.?

Definites:
St. Petersburg Piranhas
Vilnius Maulers
Lowell Bengal Tigers
Kazan Golden Horde
U.S.S.R. Goons
General Patton's Demon Brigade (rel)
Rome's Fighting Gladiators (rel)
EEORG Defectors
Demoniak Piggies
Cincinnati Tigers
Croatian Sensations (rel)
Silestia Miners (rel)

Possible:
Dogdandy Dragons (nearly empty roster)

So, 12 or 13 (can't find the 14th team I flagged). Add another three if Bort decides to be different and clean up the league before processing relegations. I think he should, even if it's only a one time deal.
