Port Harcourt Playmakers - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=5149 - After winning Africa A1 in season 5 they showed they are a force to be reckoned with, winning AA1 Lion Conference and possibly AA1 Champions

This team is yet another RUN heavy team molded after the success of the Mozambique Starvin Marvins. I don't know who these cats are but I hope they can bring it better than the previous winners, The Thundercats.

And in Elephant

A team who obviously couldn't hack it in Canada Pro so they found some sucker to trade with them to an easier league, now this team has a good amount of 40ish players and they had the top Pass Defense, which works well here in the pass happy AAA.

btw this was typed with sarcasm attached for the raiders so don't be pissed at me

When will you stop refering to PHP,RMoG,WoA and all as 'expansion teams' ? They were created just one season after the rest of Africa.

All this 'Wow! We are expansion teams yet we are superior to older teams !' is stupid.

Younger teams being superior to older ones, at this point in GLB, is NORMAL.

Younger teams have younger players and everybody knows that younger players have better builds than older ones.

I hope they do, I like good competition, next season we are going to lose some tough competition through promotion (losing 2) and selling of teams (losing at least 1)

1 season later? More like 2. Diamonds are a season 3 team correct? PHP RMoG WoA etc are all season 5 teams.

Well so that means that 'expansion' players are even younger and so have even better builds

What I mean is that when I compare my CBs Aeneas Lyght (created 1-29) and Darryl Henley (4-42)... there's no comparison !!!

We've used the term "promoted teams" a lot, not "expansion". And its just a way to defferentiate, no gloating or glorifying ourselves intended, not from my part anyway.

And i didnt hear you name any of the new teams favorites in the pre-season because of our low lvl's, infact all the settled teams agreed that the promoters would have a hard time. We were predicted to finish 13th in Lion, and RMoG 11th in Elephant(just taking the 2 who made it farthest) and didnt seem like you disagreed much.

This isnt meant as smack or anything, you know i think you're a good guy Just think its a little silly to bring up the "lower lvl players have an advantage" comment at this point of the season heh.

And yea, i ramble, even on forums

Couldn't have said it better. I think all the talk at the beginning of the season motivated me and im sure some of the other new teams. It was almost like, hey kiddies wait your turn we have been here and dont expect to do much just be happy if you make the playoffs.

Nothing against the teams who were here at all, great group of agents and owners for sure and I am glad we came to this league and look forward to next season as well. I know we have some more really good teams being promoted to join us and hate to lose some of the ones we are, especially php, if not for Minaras this could have been a dead forum this season.

I dont think anyone came in here thumping their chest or at this point are claiming the newer teams are better than the old, it just all goes back to the first week when we got promoted.

Sounds almost like the Waxers game... heh. I know how you feel.

Our AI grew a mind of its own it seems.

Love this league as much as I loved A1. Its fun to watch the team bond with other and develop friendly rivalries (mainly the reason I was hoping to play RMoG in the finals) I hope to see all of your fantastic teams in Pro leagues in a few seasons because you are all class acts and deserve success.

GG Playmakers. I guess we were due this one after we were on the other side of a similar situation in the RMoG game ( losing with more yds, but lots of turnovers ).

That 108 yd INT return was a killer. I think your mascot was holding onto our WRs jersey though because after the INT, he appeared to be stuck to the back of the endzone, lol.
