woah...bikaben, why are you losing respect for dresden? what have we done wrong? we were not the team or owners that are claiming another team has thrown the game. or claiming that another (finance) GM is cheating for another team. If your gonna lose respect for anybody lose it for Cherrie.

You mean Dublin. Cherrie is the owner of Dublin. Dresden is the team that one and Malta is the team that lost (supposedly threw the game). I hope you meant Dublin not Dresden.

Okay, so let's sort out my argument in a reasonably easy way to read.

1. Apparently Buer and Valakar 'demanded' that players from the team post about this. Hm. Let's see. Who argued from Dresden? Joey, Val, and I. Okay, so I demanded on the team forum that Val to come and argue this, while he demanded that I do the same? Yeah, that definitely happened. And Joey's been here in this league forum this whole time.

2. Apparently we have no grounds to argue? You proposed, under an assumption, that Malta threw the game, and that our GMs cheated and gained information from Malta. First off, if Malta wanted to throw the game on purpose, why would we even bother taking information from them to try to win? And i don't know if you realize, but if you're not given OC/DC access, you can't see the Tactics screen at all.

As an agent with NO PLAYERS and NO INTEREST in any of the events. I can only speak to one thing.

Valakar & Buer are about as clean as they come. If Cherrie really wants to bitch... then just bitch about the fact that you actually have to WIN your way through your league. Obviously, you are concerned about beating Dresden. So, do some game planning and good luck.

Otherwise, GTFO.

I can tell you that as soon as the Dresden/Malta matchup became apparently, both Valakar and myself made ourselves scarce in both forums until after the game. I had no idea what game either team was going to use but I can tell you both teams wanted to win. As a recruiter on both, neither team was going to throw a game for any reason.

It amazes me how some people can be so stupid over a game........LOL

Why do you care cherrie, if anyone threw the game. I'm sure it was pretty unlikely that they did and even so. Are you saying that malta is the better team? because if you think that, then there should be no excuses for you not winning this afternoon. I find it hard to beleive anyone would throw a game that can get them to the conference championship game, and if they didn't want to get promoted then they could lose the game then. There is no need for you to go around accusing people of things. If you really are the best team then you will win today it's as simple as that theres no need to give all this crap about cheating.

ok I feel like I should chime in as I am the OC of Malta, I ran the exact same gameplan I have all season, it turns out my AI has a slight glitch.

my Punting on 4th down input is set for Own Goal to Own 45 yard line and my Fg input is set for Opponents 45 to Oponents goal.

So that means there is no input that covers the field between my own 45 yard line and the opponents 45 yard line, when there is no input the basic AI takes over and I guess wasn't smart enough to kick a punt in that situation.

Also I NEVER post tactic information so nobody on my team even knows what I am going to call from game to game (is that the smartest thing? prolly not but I trust my players to set the tactics to what they think is best for them and it will all work out.)

I was personally PISSED that we lost this game AND I have no ties whatsoever to Dresden. I don't care about Dresden, I don't like Dresden, I SHIT on Dresden. Any team in my league besides my own is the enemey no matter who is on it.

If anyone wants to question my integrity or my desire to win I can refer you to a ton of people who know me 1st hand and about how I almost sold my team back last season when we lost in the 1st round. I was so damn pissed I resigned ALL of my GM positions and removed myself from all of the private forums I was apart of, I was this close to quitting GLB.

I had the exact same feeling when Malta lost.

So this ends the did we throw the game controversey.

Yeah... I think you all need to find better ways to spend your time... you take this WAY to seriously... Its funny... But to be honest... it was a very shitty game plan, i dont think you did it to lose on purpose... but you did put the WORST game plan in...
