ok, so you took my analogy a little too literal maybe? cause i wasn't calling anyone here an 8 year old... just like you weren't calling anyone roger clemens, or an oklahoma sooner.

edit: i have no idea what's going on in this thread anymore

i predict Helsinki over BDM in the final

That's to take nothing away from Helsinki, it's just that I think Stary Oskol has the best overall team in EEA#3 right now. Helsinki appears to have the higher starter levels and perhaps best depth, but they seem somewhat one dimensional... if SOBB stops the run then Helsinki is stuck, but SOBB can attack with either facet. It'll be close, but I just don't see Helsinki coming out on top (short of using the three-play offenses that EEA#3 has seen in this season's playoffs).

I quite disagree. My prediction would be Helsinki by 13+. Tougher D. Bitch of a running game.

Tough combo.

This is actually quite hilarious...people just don't want to admit to the fact that the team was out-thought! I mean, if Roger Clemmons went on the mound, and decided to throw curve balls all game, and no one could hit it because they were ready for the heat...would he be "cheap" or tactical?

If Oklahoma comes out in the BCS and does nothing but run the triple option...because they are a passing team and UF prepared to stop the pass, are the "cheap" or tactical?

If you are a run first team, and I come out with the Goal line defense against your "running" formations and you never pass, but yet you normally run for 400+ a game...am I "cheap" because I did something out of the ordinary and you didn't mix your play calling up enough to get yards or tactical?

I'm just really getting sick of hearing about it, it's a damn game and our OC did what he needed to do to get the win...and the worst thing is the people complaining about it wasn't even part of the team that got beat. So get over it already, vote us the underdog or whatever, it doesn't matter, just get on with the game already.

You're awful defensive about your team, huh? Perhaps a bit too over-protective, mama hen? How many times have I defended the gameplanning done by the Cypriot Freedom? One too many, apparently, because you're now starting to act like you don't deserve that respect anymore.

If you'll read my prediction, I said "I just don't see Helsinki coming out on top (short of using the three-play offenses that EEA#3 has seen in this season's playoffs)". You know what that means, M Woods? That means that unless they do something unexpected that SOBB can't handle, I don't see them winning the game. That's giving props to Cypriot; not tearing them down.

anyway, goodluck the rest of the way. our season is over, so i don't really care. just doing the forum troll thing.

My point was that intentionally getting hit by a pitch in baseball ain't within the rules.

You see, for an analogy to be good, it actually has to compare two similar situations.

For example, if 10,000,000 retarded spider monkeys posted on these forums, 9,999,973 of them would make a better analogy than yours.

I'm just kidding. All of them would be better.

Ummm, if Oklahoma does that they are neither cheap nor tactical..... they would be STUPID!!!!! ( Sam Bradford running the option, HAHAHAHAHAHA )

I think what makes the WR screen so unfair is that you have to put in a specific play on defense to stop it.... but that play is burned by everything else. So while the WR screen may be stopped, nothing else out of the 3 WR set is, so you still get swamped. I think that is what is frustrating to DC's about that play. There are no "pre-snap" reads by the defensive players, so they keep getting burned by the play again and again. You would think after "seeing" it so many times that dots would have a pretty good chance of recognizing the play or at least cheat that way... but they don't. It's why humans > dots!!!

As for predictions......

I know nothing about either Alpha team..... so I'll take SOBB... too many Helsinki's in these leagues!!

In Zeta..... I'm going with the hot hand and saying Cypriot!!!

SOBB will take it all.

I think through sim glitch, it pits the Fighting Elk and Freedom for the Zeta conference... and they tie. What happens in a playoff tie? Anyone...? Donovan McNabb?

I just want Belarus to stick around EEA#3. We were just experimenting with options in our regular season match-up, and then had a really good gameplan for them in the playoffs, in a game we should have won. We want BDM back next season so we can keep this upstart rivalry going. But... c'est la vie... I hope you bastards at least beat down on the Vilnius Iron Wolves and Tallinn Tigers for us next season.

BDM are up already. I'd say there's more than a 50% chance you are up too

Zeta-

gg Freedom. You had me a little worried after knocking off The Tri and Elks.

Alpha-

WOW, just WOW. Helsinki, 9 runs with 1:47 left to go? A run with 16 seconds left and no time outs on the SOBB's 17?

I think everyone in the Master's Dojo needs to send the people of Helsinki a thank you card.
