There is a division of duties to take care of so it is not one person working on all of it. In addition, teams like this have more of a "team first" attitude. When you get a good group of people together like that, then the natural inclination is to stick together. Richmond's high level players were not numerous enough to field a competitive team in the pros. Their levels help them here and they present a different set of issues for any other team competing here, but they can be beat. We came close on our second try and may have well pulled it off except we fumbled the ball 3 times. They still have to game plan around what they have and also to exploit another teams weaknesses along with trying to account for their own.

RMoG beat them bad and RMoG is from A league last year. I don't see anyone screaming about their LB corps, which is one of the reasons their defense is so brutal. Their DE's are among the best in the league to add icing to the cake and make any OC cringe, but it is their higher level LB corps that makes it all go from a defensive stand point of view.

My primary focus is in the 2 AA leagues. This one is by far more competitive than the other one I am involved in. The A teams that came up in SA were good, but the old AA teams that were among the good ones left basically kicked their butts this season. None of them would stand a chance to not only Richmond and RMoG, but I think Dakar and Cairo Cannibals would also beat them easily.

If you don't like how hot the competition is in this league, then by all means ask for a transfer to someplace easy where you can beat 3/4's of the league without trying. If you want to stick around and have a great opponent more often than not where you got to game plan your ass off, then this league has a great potential next season for that to happen despite some of the teams that have folded. Of course if you like playing video games on godmode, then I have to question the point of the exercise in the first place..

You and anyone else who seems to want to continue to bitch about Richmond's roster moves that the rest of us have had to endure for over a month now and could give a shit less about.

You going to bust our chops because at some point, we brought in a higher level RB, QB and a few others from our other teams because they needed a new home? How about EEORG and their RB (along with some of their other players) just to name another example?

Nobody forces you to read it and im not whining about the level of the team at all but thanks. I thought it was shitty how the old team was done, the owner said they wanted to go willingly but i have an agent who denied that but it doesnt matter. I was answering a question of how does someone recruit that many high levels and all i said was bring an entire pro team over. So actually I wasnt even the one who started this whole thing but way to blow it out of proportion.

Here is the question for you... i honestly don't know how you recruited so many high level 40 players. Its ridiculous. If we can nail one level 40 player in an offseason in the high level player feeding-frenzy that is GLB, its an absolute miracle.

My Answer which was not attacking them at all...They took a Pro team and moved them all here thats not hard. They may have signed a few outside of that pro team but hell if i saw a roster full of 40 players playing in a league with 20s it wouldnt he hard to think damn thats an easy season. Basically saying it wasnt hard for them they already had the connections and brought the team over.

From there dumb nuts attacks me because i stated the obvious. I wasnt planning on bringing up old news but hey he wants to start in i can dish it out too.

So again if you dont want to read what i post ignore it, it wont hurt my feelings, but make sure you read the entire post and see who started shit before you write a novel of crap.

Klydon doesnt need your help and yet again another person attacking me when i hadnt even said shit about them other than how they were able to recruit so many then drkryn decided to spout off about it and like you said i wont just sit there and let someone talk shit i like to scratch sometimes myself. I dont care about them, they are gone and honestly its been weeks i think since anyone stirred the pot on that and i wasnt even doing it this time, but hey the forums are getting boring with the playoffs winding down and the off season coming up so if you guys wanna get off Richmonds jock and get a good one going to keep us occupied till season 7 go for it.

Ok so let me clear this up because obviously people have not heard the whole story about this situation.

I was the owner of the Blacksburg Ballers, the team that sent most of its players over to Icky's team. I had owned the Ballers for 5 seasons, all the way back to when Goal Line Blitz was just a grassroots program and everybody got FP's actually through referrals. I had a core group of guys that I assembled and we moved all the way from Canada AA up to Canada Pro. However last season was the second season in Canada Pro and another disappointing end to the season with an early playoff exit. I already had thoughts about selling the team because I just didn't have the time or money to invest into GLB anymore. I conferred with my OC, rbetesta, and he indicated that Icky Thump (who at the time had a safety on my team) owned a team over in the African leagues. We decided to try to keep all the Ballers players together and so we came over to Icky's team.

So really it was not some miracle recruiting on the part of Icky. He is a really great owner and I wouldn't have gotten this reference from my basically right hand man, rbetesta, if he wasn't a really good owner. Do I think it was unfair? You can be the judge, but there was no cap on the league and I don't think we violated any rules on the part of GLB. Icky didn't even post in MY team forums saying that we should go to his team. He really stayed hands off and it was the Ballers players who decided his team would be best to go to. So if you are bitter about a bunch of high level players coming over, it's understandable because this type of thing doesn't happen that often. But piggybacking on what Klydon said, this goes to show why you should be respectful to your teammates and players because things like this could happen more likely if you are.

So if you have a problem with it PM me or direct your anger at me because I was the one who ultimately decided that this move would be the best.

Thanks but thats been common knowledge since they made the move. But Richmond was my target early on to have a rivalry with so i stirred the pot, I have an old Raider on my team so that helped motivate me seeing how he got the boot. Now its apparently going to be the second best team in Cairo which is fine, i have one with the other Cairo but thats more of a friendly rivalry.
