Every season they've made it out of the first round, and in the past season and currently have upset a better opponent. I don't think they're that good of a team, but seem to always pull it out when playoffs roll around. You're right though, they've never reached the Conference Championship.

Almost exactly the same thing happened to my Oceania A#6 team, number 1 seeded Melbourne Goodfellas. Lost by 1 point, FG with 26 seconds to go. We ended up with a massive 44yd pass and missed a 53 yd FG with 7 seconds left.

I'm thinking the same for Ivory Coast. We've been pretty heavily out leveled most of the season (many starters in the 20s) and yet we've stayed pretty competitive. Ironically, our owner wanted to swap back to A before the season as he feared he wouldn't have a chance
