My predictions weren't very good

Dublin 46-7 wasn't close to 31-30.
Dreden 31-10 was closer to 24-13, but not as close as I'd like.
Bjelasnica 35-16 was nowhere near the high scoring affair I thought at 48-35.
Cork over Chocolate City 31-20 was again nothing like the high score I thought at 45-31.

Hope my 3rd round predictions are closer to the mark.

Actually my fine mustached friend, I believe the point was a reference to cherrie's original claim that his team was going to meet ours in the title game and spank us. His line of logic seems to be that because Dresden beat us before our team was even filled out all the way, and he believes his team is better than Dresden, he should therefore be able to beat us.

But yes, you would be right if that was all I was referring to. Although I would say that his use of the word "case" would indicate that this was the final piece of many, and one should refer to early points for the rest of his "case".

As for your first response to me - you are giving too much weight to a week 1 game now that it's week 19. Both teams have gotten bigger and better. We were the lesser team that day - with any luck we'll get a chance to avenge at least one of our two losses this season. Dresden robbed us of a chance at a clean sweep.
