There will be 6-9 teams promoted looking at the number of CPU teams being dropped. The Bad news is you are being promoted into an uncapped league with an average player lvl of 35. Good luck with that.

Good think Black Death is #11 in line to be promoted. pheww!

LOL my team will be just fine... there is a reason those teams have been there forever. I have been a part of a few capped league teams that have moved to non capped leagues. they have all done pretty well

I don't know where you are getting your numbers from but as of now there are 15 teams that could in theory end up in Western Europe BBB#1.

4 are from the pro league and will be split among all of BBB leagues, another 3 from AAA #1 which can go anywhere between BBB #1 and BBB #8, 4 from AA #1 which can go anywhere in BBB #1 through BBB #4 and finally 3 from A#1 which can go to either BBB#1 or BBB#2.

Assuming that all leagues receive roughly the same amount of relegations BBB#1 and BBB#2 will promote between 4 and possibly 5 teams to Western Europe A #1. And with the quality of teams that are being promoted to A#1 and the fact that several of the best teams from A#1 will be moved up to AA#1 I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see any one of the teams from the conference championships in BBB#1 this season win the whole thing in A#1 next season. At the least all 4 teams should make the playoffs.

I also hope for your teams sake that your mentality is an aberration among the GMs or I fear that the Black Death won't be going anywhere any time soon. The goal of our team is to eventually get promoted to the Pro League, not to stay here in BBB#1. Unfortunately for us this season we ran into some serious competition, next season with a watered down league we intend to pull it all down. At the least we expect to be in the championship game against Kobenhaven, East Cairo or Passion.

Just to show the math:

4 CPU Pro = .25 BBB #1
3 CPU AAA #1 = .375 BBB #1
4 CPU AA #1 = 1 BBB #1
3 CPU A #1 = 1.5 BBB #1
14 CPU teams = 3.125 BBB #1 teams

Add in the two auto-demotes, and that's about 5 teams coming to BBB #1 already.

We would be pleased as punch with that outcome. BBB#1 Alpha will still be a tough place next season, although because of the loss of 2-3 of our powerhouse teams which will be replaced with CPU teams who will be behind the 8 ball in terms of recruiting it shouldn't be the trial by fire that it was this season.

That's what I was looking at. Of course between now and tomorrow it may change drastically as team ownership expires and teams that are not renewed get added to the equation. Still I think more than 5-6 teams is highly unlikely simply given the very specific way that each league promotes and demotes.

You guys are just looking at CPU teams. They will relegate non-competitive teams as well. So my numbers are as follows:

Pro: 7 CPU / 16 - Relegate 3 to AAA
AAA#1: 3 CPU / 8 - Relegate 4 to AA - Promote 5
AA#1: 4 CPU / 4 - Relegate 4 to A - Promote 6
A#1: 3 CPU / 2 - Relegate 4 to BBB - Promote 7
BBB#1 +3.3 CPU Teams - +2 Relegated from A#1 - Promote 6-7

This assumes that nobody sells there teams back. Which they will.. so I would guess as I said above it will be between 6-9 teams.

As for my attitude, we will have a much better financial base after winning this League next season and you all struggling for wins and losing all your fan base in an uncapped league. As I have seen in other leagues where this happens, half of you promoted will be relegated next season after getting crushed all year. While we build up and land in A with a running head start.

I wish you all luck.. but I cant say I wish we were going in your place

Putting the cart in front of the horse a bit aren't we? Schedule will play a big part in who is the favorite to move up next season. Whoever starts with the CPU teams will have a big edge. Even if 6 teams do get moved up next season I still see the Black Death as the 4th or 5th best team at this point. I'm underwhelmed by Stockholm tbh. This season you played one of the worst Zeta teams to start, caught Cowthorpe napping early, narrowly edged out Passion, Cambridge, Tilburg and East Cairo and didn't really throw any beat downs on any of the top 10 teams in alpha. If you start next season off with a three pack like Kobenhaven, East Cairo, and Passion you could easily be 1-3 and looking at a long tough road to the playoffs.

I also wish those going on to A luck, but I wish we had won some playoff games and we were going to A.

that was the game we had 3 turnovers inside the 10 yard line, two of them inside the 2 yard line, 2 of them returned 90 and 99 yards for tds, and we still only lost by 3. stockholm is far from a bad team, but they weren't and aren't one of the elite teams

Glad we're not the only ones movin up.

We'll be keeping our core guys though. My motto: I'd rather lose with great agents than win with inactives.

I agree with merenoise's assessment of your season but really feel like you guys turned it up towards the end. I will consider Stockholm one of the teams to beat next season, and we will look to avenge our 3-point loss!

Not at all what I meant. Lambda hit it on the head. Stockholm is a very good team, shit you handed us our hats when we played you. I just don't think you are as elite as your record suggested. Much like NBK was a far better team than their record suggested. I fully expect the Black Death to be very much in the playoff mix next season. I really think that in our conference the team that gets a favorable schedule next season will be the team with the best chance to score home games. Once the playoffs start though any of these teams could win it all:

Ingolstadt
Stockholm
Passion
East Cairo
Kobenhaven (assuming they aren't promoted)
Vatican City
Red River

Any team that has the awful luck of being demoted into our league is in for a looooong season imo.

Fixed.
