Football and soccer are played at the same time. Our football coach wouldn't allow you to play soccer for this exact reason. Well our kicker was a soccer player, but that was different.

It actually depends. On the West Coast soccer season is played in the spring season also.

I played high school ball for 4 years, with pootklopp. I had some chance to play ball in college at some small schools but went to Rutgers instead. Coached pop warner for 2 years and have been coaching high school ball for last 4 seasons.

I played in the Ivy League and then played in a semi-pro league (which was disastrous) in California. It was mostly a bunch of no talent thugs who took every cheap shot imaginable.
It was fun, but there was nothing "semi-pro" about it.

And football isnt tough on the body?

Jerome Bettis cant even walk without warming his knees up, I would say football is alot more physical then, kick a ball around yay, Football has kickers that get paid for that, while soccer teams have entire teams to get paid for it, yet Football also has many more brutal ends, complete ACL tears, severe concusions, and just think about there backs..

Dont get me wrong I played both, but er.. Soccer was just not as enjoyable to me.

Sweet, lets buy Fifa Soccer 09, and kick some goals!

Or buy some Madden 09 and Hit stick a 5'7 runningback and watch him fly.
