I'll also go ahead and nominate myself for one of the FB spots, Marcus Alexander Kaye. He's more of a role player than a FB though. Doing a little of everything to try and help the team win... be it grinding out tough yardage, pancaking a blitzing LB, catching a pass out of the backfield, resting the specialists and/or clearing a path for the PR/KR. He's also led the Bruins for two seasons straight, in pancakes.

Fullback is one of those positions thats incredibly difficult to gauge the effectiveness of just by looking at stats

I don't envy dawgs decision there

As good as Slop is TtD, I'd like to see any DE get sacks when double and sometimes triple teamed for the entire game lol.

You do what you gotta to get results, is down to the DE to be better than what the O can throw up in front of him .

QB1- Jerry Koosman, Klamath Falls Grizzlies
QB2- Bigg Dawg, Grand Haven Mist

youre kidding right?

Id love to hear why Trent Meatwards isnt the QB1,

he's got 20 more TDs and almost 2200 yds MORE than anyone else in the league...

20 more TDs than Koos, 30 more than Dawg.

2200 yds more than Koos, 2500 more than Dawg.

the fact that he isnt even included is going up on our bulletin board.

Trent Meatwards had 17 TDs vs. Frenso, 12 against Kansas City. That account for almost 40% of his production. He also threw 100 more attempts than anyone else. Looking at the game log, he threw 10 picks in his 4 biggest games, definitely was the reason for early season loss against Anchorage.

On the other hand, koosman has the model of efficiency. led a potent offense and didnt make mistakes in big game. its a FINE line, but I gave #1 slot to koosman.

I will agree thought the he deserves a spot over dawgg on the second team.

can we all agree on that?

dawgs - Would it be easier to compare everyone's stats against the 8 teams per Conference that made the playoffs? Not to discount those teams that didn't make the playoffs this year, but would playoff teams be considered "big games"? Just my two cents.

Wasn't meant for you to pour over all that data. Just a comment for those people nominating players that they should see how their nominees fared against the teams that made the playoffs.

I still say Bubba Wizard at OG deserves to be there. Show me where he has given up a sack or tackle for a loss due to him?

I'll offer up a few Dogs players as well:

HB Cannon Ball (I'm biased but I think one of best 1-2 combos in A7)

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=110692

HB Jack "Rabbit" MyJohnson (same as above)

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=299668

C Richie Shiver (our O Line Anchor, not a pancake maker but that's not what we need him for)

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=79326

CB Torch Johnson (59 Tackles, 10 INT's and 5 went for TDs, and 3 Sacks)

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=344002

I'd like to nominate a few more but we'll start with these...

it will serve as motivation on our bulletin board.

leaving CB, Hunter Haywood and MLB, Ultra Mann off the All Pro Team is another head scrathcer.

but thats ok.

they'll capture your attention over the next few days.

I seriously don't understand how Haywood isn't on the team. I have no affiliation with the guy or his team, but look at his stats and there is not another CB that has played better than him this season.
