keep in mind, for defensive players, high stats does not necissarily mean better player... cause if the defense is actually terrible and it's on the field for 40+ minutes, any average player could rack up some stats.

Yeah, but keep in mind your point sucks. Find me a player with top-three league wide stats on a shitty team and I might take back calling you dumb.

does tackles missed count?

i think the top six guys in tackles are all on average-to-shitty teams. that's really the only stat his point works for (although the number 3 guy in sacks was on a 6-10 team)

stats like ints, sacks, or % completed passes- not stats like stubbed toes or cups of water drank

his point is valid for tackles. its a "sexy" stat... if you're completely clueless. so, while entertaining... your "you stupid fuck" comment wasn't really necessary.

The top 3 QBs on passing yards and TDs are not from top 3 teams. One of them is not on a playoff team.

The #1 rusher in yards and TDs is not from a playoff team.

Sledge "Hammer" Jackson, the best YAC among the 1000+ receiving yards WRs and 2nd on receiving yards is not on a playoff team.

League leaders in tackles:

1. Melvin James, SS. 209 tackles, 1 INT. TEAM: Sartov Slashers (5-11)
2. THE Dave Jaxon, DE. 203 Takles, 6 ffum, 51 sacks (not bad) TEAM: Detroit Muscle (6-10
3. Brad Elrod, SS. 198 Tackles, 3 INT, 1 sack. TEAM: Serbia Tigers (2-14)

The list goes on too.
I will admit though, it's a different story with sacks, interceptions, and forced fumbles. (some say those are the only stats that matter though)

I was just saying you have to take into consideration more than stats(especially for defensive players). Which i guess is kinda tough, cause you would have to watch nearly every game in the entire league... and watch for real impact plays and whatnot...

whatever i'm done.

Although I didn't actually say it in my original comment, I'm pleased to see that you assumed I meant "you stupid fuck". It still stands (you stupid fuck).

assumed? more like paraphrased to make my point... which is that there was no need to cast insults.

I don't have a point to make. not that I couldn't make one, I just have no bearing in the current conversation.

I don't think I deserve MVP, but pro bowl at least, 50 TD's 4320.5 yards, only 10 picks with a shitty receiving corps and no run game

People that bash their team mates or team do not get a vote. Get out of here Ryan Leaf..

On the defensive side of the ball? Defense is what wins football games. I'm not against recognizing these guys for their outstanding stats, and play. Though we're hardly giving justice to the teams out there with a great defensive squad. Guys who are on these luke warm teams are not deserving enough to go to Hawaii. We need to look at the individuals who have propelled their teams to great records and playoff contention.

I think you should talk with the Lo Pans' management team to discuss how badly they handle finances, and then perhaps they'd be able to bring in the talent to make your stats actually worth something. Oh wait... I guess as a GM, that blame is laid upon yourself for the "shitty reciving corps and no run game".

You point out that your team doesn't have a running game, which is exactly the reason that Papman won't get a nod from anyone other than yourself... when all your team can do is pass, they better get a ton of yards. It's much more impressive what Leonard Dawson did with the Bengals, Rambling Ghost did with the Lions, and Isiah Plexico did with the Bucks... three of the better rushing teams teams in EEA#3, yet having a QB that high up on the leaderboard.
