Oh it goes back farther than that. How about old Raving Mad Dawgs lol. Before the epic holocaust of season 5 or maybe it was 4, The 13 had crazy competition that had me thinking we'd be there until season 9 or 10. Needless to say Raving has been less than stellar under it's new ownership and jp on the LV Legends doesn't seem to care as much anymore. Throw in the San Diego Blaze who seem to pass for 8000 yards each season and score 40 points at will, but have never been able to figure out their def lol.

With Fresno going back down this season and the West having 2 cpu teams it looks like the Blaze may get a shot with this new promotion system. Not looking forward to gameplanning against them again

kickoff is an hour away.

I knew we shouldnt have gone away from our strength.

we assumed you'd pull out all the stops to sack/pressure Trent and try to pick him off.

So we tried to minimize it by attacking your DL by running right at them.

Your D stepped up!

we couldnt manage a measley 3 ypc..

Our D played great I gotta tip my hat to them...

two fourth down stops and 3 INTs???

before the game if youda told me our D would hold you to 23 and we'd run a INT back for a TD I woulda figured we blew you out.

Last time our two teams where in this position the BBB14 Gold was up for grabs and now here we are beating on each other for the A7 Gold. No matter how it turns out, I'm hoping for an outstanding game Moses. Now, our Defense and I need to go get comfortable in the film room. Good luck to you guys.

You smoking rocks, bro? Tucson has never been in BBB14. We're one of the original 13 squads. Silverymoon & Austin came before us, but we're the first 13 team to win the A7 West, so that counts for something...

After finishing my scouting report my initial reaction was to focus everything on shutting down the passing game. I thought about it and decided that if I threw everything at the pass and we got behind early, you guys would be able to run all over us and keep us from making a comeback. I think our defensive line is solid, but I don't know that they could've stopped your running attack on their own without some help from the linebacker corps. In the end I decided to play to our strengths and see how the chips fell.

My biggest concerns were your third and short tendencies. I can usually determine what a team defines as short or medium, whatever. But I had a hard time deciding when I could just empty the secondary to sell out against the run and when I needed to sell out to stop the pass. Of the film I watched, I made notes, then I threw them away. Then I went half by half and threw that away, too. You were just inconsistent enough for me to set my own baseline and hope we'd put you in enough 3rd and long situations that it wouldn't matter.

Either way, good game & great season. This has been a hard fought conference all season long and we're extremely happy to have won this thing. I just *wish* I could have the Reno game to do over.

Well KFG has demolished everyone put in their way. Go rep the West well pontiac and moses. Granted they did play east teams all season, but they played like a West team in doing so.

So far, we've been picked to lose to Reno & Buffalo and have developed quite an attitude about the whole thing. We could do no wrong until we lost late in the season and were all but declared a paper tiger after the loss. The past few games have been redemptive.

It's an interesting matchup and the Grizzlies are a quality team. We're looking forward to the opportunity.

I'd guess we would actually be the underdog in this one b/c of the East/West perception. Which is cool by us.

I too think this is a pretty interesting match up. Already see some concerns for my D. Should be an exceptional football game.
