5 teams I see played with us last season in the BBB #14...4 are in the playoffs this season in A #7.

I agree that the likelyhood of us sweeping through A #7 is not good, but we won't be the laugher we were that you guys a couple seasons removed remember.

There was a 5 man race in BBB #14 West for the top spot, very competitive, and we were the first team left behind.

We also competed a HELL of a lot better this season in our annual scrimmage with Alpine than we normally do.

6 RGB Berzerk 10-6-0 L1
7 Tallahassee Teabaggers 9-7-0 W2
8 Chicago Thunder 8-8-0 W1
9 Grand Haven Mist 8-8-0 L2
10 Anchorage Maulers 8-8-0 L5

4 teams from BBB13W. RGB was one seed last year, Tallahassee 2 seed, Anchorage 3, and Chicago 5. A little more competitive up here.

Head to head I think Anchorage has you 7 out of 10 times. That puts you at 11ish in A7 this year.

First, let me state that I'm not saying South Beach would/will not be competitive in A7. However, let's take a look at the former BBB14 teams you mention and how you fared against them last season:

Philly Brokebacks - Lost 20-45 (Philly currently 7-8-1 this season in A7)
Chicago Bruins - Won 21-19 in Reg Season, Lost 21-33 in Playoffs (Chicago currently 10-6 this season in A7)
Memphis Ghetto Dawgs - Lost 17-28 (Memphis currently 12-4 this season in A7)
Omaha Dogs - Lost 16-59 in a scrimmage (Omaha currently 15-1 this season in A7)

Lastly, you mention that you competed a hell of a lot better against Alpine then in previous seasons. You lost 19-42 this season, lost 13-44 last season, and lost 7-49 two seasons ago. From an outside observer, it's debatable if that's considered competing.

If you're comparing your team to it's earlier roster then I don't think anyone would argue that you've upgraded at certain positions. However, it appears you're assuming teams formerly of BBB14 or any other current A7 teams haven't made the same type of roster upgrades.

Good luck in BBB14 playoffs and if you make it up here next season then we'll be glad to have you.

The tokers have come a LONG way since their first season in the BBB. If/When they advance, they'll be competing for a playoff spot, just not a high seed.

Competing for a playoff spot will be the initial first season goal.

And Thank You for the words...much appreciated.

These two posts tell me one of two things without doing a full scout job of the whole conference.

Option #1 - USA BBB #13 was weak last season since all of your teams are lower than the USA BBB #14 teams which would show that we would be better than the 11th best team.

OR

Option #2 - The Western Conference is much harder than the Eastern conference. Which means we end up in the easier conference since we know we can hang with those teams at least.

Or Option #3 - You replace Canada BBB13 with USA BBB13 then Option #4 applies that is Yes to all of the above...

The biggest key is we kept Julius Dee to single digit sacks! That is a miracle in itself compared to previous games...they were not as close as the scores suggested in previous seasons.
