what about offensive linemen and Fullbacks and Tight Ends and Safeties? Not a single one has been mentioned. There's just not enough love to go around it seems.

If someone wants to go that in depth, by all means

I'd like to see that kind of depth.

Well for Offensive linemen in particular they basically just block so it's hard to judge them as individuals. But I will say I watched almost every play for every game for my team this season and there were two guys who made a great block on almost every play and it saddened me a little because I knew they would never get any recognition for this kind of thing especially because of their team. It was the Center and Left Gaurd for Aussie. They're really great at what they do.

If we really plan on doing this, we need a voting structure (maybe 1 vote per team)

As Dashs coach I want to thank the OP for recognizing him, he has had an amazing season and as a backup to Jones/BMac he has really been lightning in a bottle all season long. If we are voting for MVP's consider my vote for Dash also.

Us WR's can't throw the ball to ourselves, and as such I find it hard for us to make such an individual impact on a game.

I usually look to top teams for MVP candidates but with the top three franchises all having 7-8 40+ at most skill positions I think its pretty easy to see why you feel that way about making an impact. I am still amazed so many high level players are willing to play for teams and only get 1-2 quarters of work, I guess being on a high profile team like West Scranton and winning games outweighs getting the ball.

Regarding Avalanche, an exceptional player but I think Courtney Arrington has been lights out the best defensive player in Opro this year. Not sure if that's cause Avalanche only stayed on the field for 25 snaps against us but Arrington is a gamechanger. Probably the only guy in Opro who needs to be gameplanned for on defense as opposed to just gameplanning the scheme.

So do I. Denver is owning it up. +1 for Denver.

For the hell of it, I should explain why I chose Sneeze over Parr:

Parr: 101 catches, 2841 yards, 28.1 yards per catch, 11.2 yards after the catch, 36 TD's, 16 drops (86.3% catch rate)

Sneeze: 137 catches, 2133 yards, 15.6 yards per catch, 5.3 yards after the catch, 25 TD's, 8 drops (94.4% catch rate)

For me, the 36 more receptions and the amazing catch rate were the difference.

Give me the 700 extra yards, +13 ypc average and +6 yac anyday.

And that vote has to be used on someone on another team, maybe?

How about as long as it's not their own player it's ok

An interesting topic for discussion, but I think better left for another thread. My short answer is yes, winning a lot of games and playing for one of the best does outweigh personal glory for me. (Although I can't complain about my personal playing time, either.)
